    Horrible and false advertisement

    "Disappointed with the unfair pet policy. I paid a $33 pet fee for my stay, yet they tried to hold my $100 deposit over a minor, light pet paw stain according to house keeping my pet had oily paws for walking 2 times around the parking lot. They are short on coverlets apparently. A pet fee covers this type of usage, thats not been "pet friendly motel", . Poor experience regarding deposit return, especially after paying premium rates in total i paid 244.00 for one night, so yes please please "Be careful if you have pets. Even after paying the $33 pet fee for a 2-bed room ($107), they targeted me for a $100 deposit deduction due to a light paw stain. It felt like a cash grab. OH I ALMOST FORGOT BREAKFAST DONT EXPECT A WAFFLE MAKER, EGGS, HASHBROWNS ECT. ITS FALSE ADVERTISEMENT, ITS MORE LIKE MOTEL 6 YEARS AGO WHEN THEY WOULD OFFER COMPLEMENTARY BREAKFAST "SNACKS"... AND FOR SURE WAS THE WORST AND HORRIBLE STAY" THEY MADE US BE 3 HOURS LATE AT WORK... UGHHH HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE IN MY HOMETOWN...I WILL BE POSTING ON EVERY SITE I CAN TO PREVENT PEOPLE THIS HORRIBLE TREATMENT.     Money hungry and inconsiderate

    My experience is tasting with check in was pretty basic and as usual.once in the room it was pretty nice. I do have a dog. Very well behaved and porrt trained. So I was charged a $30 pet fee. Plus $100 deposit. Well when check out time the next day. The manager left the front desk to " inspect" the room. Well I knew i left the room in a courteous manner with all the trash in bags tied up all the soiled towels in a corner and as for the beds 1 had the sheets undone and the other bed was basically my dogs. Bur she sleeps on the top comforter since she doesn't like to be under sheets. So the manger returns and tells me my deposit will not be refunded because there were paw prints on the bed sheets (topsheet only). Not muddy or anything beyond the normal. They told me that they were going to have to be thrown away. They made every excuse they could to keep my deposit which they did. Seems like they are using the "petfriendly" as a tool to keep people's deposits. Very unprofessional way of making revenue. That action took away the whole good experience of my stay.     A very poor experience

    Where does one start on such a poor poor experience - we start with a planned late arrival to the desk clerk locking himself out of the office. And waiting for the maintenance guy to come in to break in to the office (I guess he was not one to be trusted with a key) 45 minutes later we in our room with an extra guest, a large cockroach in the bathroom with a random pair of pants left behind by I am hoping a previous guest ? With the lights out there is a beeping ? Called the front desk to inquire. Apparently this is coming from the laundry room every 60 seconds a series of three beep - he attempts to fuss with it to no avail there is a coffee machine but no coffee ? Why bother ? The breakfast is marginal so manage your expectations. The requested housekeeping service was not provided ? So fresh towels were requested at 1140pm on our second evening and now the beep was back ? We were offered another room but it was nearly midnight and the loud air conditioner humming seemed to negate the beeping so we turned down this most generous offer and woke up to the a room with still no coffee and and two of the towels delivered had stains on them.     Disappointed and Unwelcome — A Loyalty Member Let DownAs a long-time Best Western loyalty member, I was disappointed by my recent experience at SureStay by Best Western Fresno Central. I’ve stayed at several BW locations — including a SureStay in Salt Lake City just last month — and have had only great experiences. Unfortunately, this property didn’t meet that standard.I found the hotel on Priceline for $73 but, knowing that hotels often honor or beat third-party pricing, I called ahead. The front desk agent quoted me $69 for a direct booking, which I appreciated.However, when I arrived, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming from the moment I stepped through the door. Despite a bell ringing and a clear view into the empty lobby, I received no greeting. Instead, the front desk agent continued joking around beind the desk with someone who turned out not to be a staff member but a friend.When I handed my ID over and inquired about the $69 quote from the night before, the price had inexplicably jumped to $89. There was no explanation or apology, and when I asked if he could at least match the Priceline rate, I was told no. The agent made no effort to acknowledge my loyalty status or offer a reasonable resolution. Left with few options, I ended up using the Best Western website to search for another nearby property.I’ve never had to do this before at any Best Western — and I couldn’t help but feel that the indifference I experienced was tied to more than just policy. I don’t make this claim lightly, but the lack of acknowledgment, sudden price change, and refusal to assist didn’t feel coincidental. It’s unfortunate when customer service falls so short that it leaves you wondering whether race played a role.For insight as to why this calculation tallied up, pick up my book, The Work From Home Anti-Racist Action Guide, where books are sold.I hope this feedback is taken seriously. Best Western usually lives up to its reputation — this location did not.

    Good overnight stay

    This motel is close to the central area in Fresno. Check-in is quick and efficient. The room is very large with 2 queen beds and 2 bathrooms. Lots of space. There is a fridge but no microwave and no coffee or hot water facility. Coffee is available at the reception (complimentary). Apart from the sometimes loud A/C it is quiet and sleep quality is good. Unlike what many reviews say our room was mostly clean (the floor could be cleaner), the bed was fresh and there was no smell of any kind.
