  The Senses Boutique Hotel was absolutely incredible. The location in Imerovigli was perfect. I recommend this town because it is quiet and quaint but close to Oia and Fira. The staff was amazing and would bring you a first-class breakfast every morning. Diana was a wonderful person to help us with our stay, and the Master Cave Suite was just fabulous. It had a big bad for my wife and I, and then my 16 year old daughter was able to stay in the Loft above. There was even more room downstairs for other people if they needed to sleep. The place was clean and well maintained, and the cave room was an incredibly unique experience. The pool was great, and the views of the Caldera may be the best on Santorini. I would highly recommend staying at the Senses Boutique Hotel.

  What a beutiful hotel and view to the, amazing, crater and to the beautiful white buildings of the island!Amazing service and breakfast served to the room! With a great varieaty of food served fresh and with amazing timing!And a special thanks to the amazing host Naiana, very helpfull and kind going out of her way to ensure everything was to our liking!

  Unique and picturesque setting with some drawbacks

  Pros:Stunning Views: Our Elegant Double Room with Caldera View did indeed offer good views of the caldera from inside and the outside seating area. The presence of a wall provides a certain level of privacy, but also means 180 degrees of vision. The view from the pool are also breathtaking.Easy Transfers: Arranging a hotel transfer was seamless, and the taxi driver exhibited the Greek warmth and friendliness one hopes for when visiting.Unique Aesthetic: If you're a fan of quirky colours and non-traditional decor, this hotel will be right up your alley.Convenient Location: The hotel is situated towards the top of the cliff, unlike some hotels that require a considerable hike down many steps.Cons:Small Bathroom: The bathroom/shower in our room is rather small, which might be inconvenient for some guests.Limited Breakfast Options: While breakfast is varied daily, it is fixed, which may not cater sufficiently to all dietary requirements, even if some adjustments are made.No 24-Hour Reception: The lack of a 24-hour reception can be problematic. Notably, there is no secure luggage storage after 3 pm, which is inconvenient if you have a late flight.Housekeeping Issues: The cleaning staff did not replace a large number of items, causing difficulty during breakfast and frustration due to insufficient towels. The absence of a 24-hour reception made it hard to resolve these issues promptly.Senses Boutique Hotel is located in Imerovigli, a quieter area of Santorini, but you can get to Fira in about 30 minutes via a scenic walk. The area offers a selection of restaurants, some with caldera views. There is a bus service to Oia from a stop down the hill (not the main stop in town which is to Fira), though return trips from Oia may require a stop in Fira.Overall, while Senses Boutique Hotel offers a unique and picturesque setting in Santorini, the numerous shortcomings and inconveniences significantly detract from the overall experience.

  The room was on the small size but would be typical for Santorini. The breakfasts delivered to the room each morning were delightful. Lots of variety and more food than you can eat. The pool is very nice and appears to be larger than most. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

  With abit of skepticism after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor , we nevertheless went ahead to book the Master Cave Suite taking into consideration that the price point was good. The hotel is located just off the main road but still accessible by car. It will require some alertness before you can find the entrance to the hotel reception. It is located next to an eatery “Let’s Eat Gyros”. The room we booked is just next to the hotel reception. It has an outdoor jacuzzi pool at the entrance but there is no direct view to the caldera. But right next to the outdoor pool , there is a sundeck area privy to the guests of this unit only and it has a clear view into the Aegean Sea. You can either enjoy your morning breakfast or simply lie on the deck chair for some sun. The room is quite nicely layout and big for a party of 3. Besides the main sleeping area , there is also a mezzanine with an additional bed for sleeping. Dining table , sofa , TV , etc is all complete but there is no kitchen , only plates and cutlery and a Nespresso machine. They do not provide any kettle to boil water. The bathroom is shaped like a cave so ventilation is restricted hence the reasons for the foul smell especially after intensive use. Breakfast is served to the room every morning and it changes daily. It consists of fried or scrambled eggs with croissant , bread , juice and milk , etc. In the morning , you can just access the walkway right in front of the hotel room to get a full view of the entire enclave of white villas and houses. The sight is spectacular. Skaros rock looks a stone throw away but it is not an easy walk up as we found out the hard way. Overall , the experience is a good one and I would recommend this hotel to those travelling in a family or group.
