    Wonderful Stay at Skyfall

    rating20 Oct 2025

Wonderful Stay at Skyfall! Our stay at Skyfall was absolutely delightful. We were there to celebrate my birthday, and it was totally worth it! The hotel is clean, calm, and full of charm, with breathtaking views as it’s located on one of the highest points of the island. The team members were all kind and very professional, and I’d like to make a special mention of Catherina at the front desk, who was incredibly lovely and made us feel truly welcome.I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable stay in Santorini. I also suggest renting a car to easily explore the island, as there are only a few supermarkets and restaurants in the area.

Stunning suites with attentive staff and exquisite views of the Agean

    rating25 Aug 2025

Stunning suites with a great deal of privacy and fantastic view of the sea and mountains. Very classy feel to the environment and staff are polite and discrete - attentive when its helpful, relaxed and give you some privacy when you don't! We had a suite with enhanced privacy to enjoy our private pool. Only downside for us was the lack of availability of food. There is a suites menu, but we found it quite limited in choice and very expensive for what was on offer. There is nowhere else locally to go for supermarket food and groceries, so be prepared to eat out every evening. That said, we enjoyed doing that and found the prices in Pyrgos very reasonable - like outer London prices and we're from outer London! There's an excellent gym too, which if you have the foresight to book for an hour, has an amazing view whilst you work out. You can plug in an iPhone for some music. Cleaning was immaculate and the bathroom is a pleasure to be in! Like a vibrant cave! A stunning piece of Greek culture, tranquil local village away from main tourist hotspots but just a beautiful. We hired a quad to head out to Fira one day, then, to Ancient Thira another. Most an absolute must for beauty and culture.

A wonderful peaceful stay at Skyfall Suites

    rating28 Jul 2025

If you are looking for peace and tranquility in a stunning location with first class service - you will find it here! We have just spent a week at Skyfall Suites and it was superb. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff (shout out to the two waiters and receptionist) and our suite was clean and had everything we needed. It’s away from the touristy places but a bus or a taxi can take you there - but in Pyrgos there are lovely restaurants.

    Amazing stay at Skyfall Suites

    rating21 Jun 2025

What a wonderful place! We wanted to treat ourselves for our silver wedding anniversary and chose Santorini as our destination. Then to choose where as there are so many options. Skyfall Suites came up and looked incredible and it totally lived up to expectations. We stayed in a private aegean view suite. We had our own pool and panoramic views. The suite was immaculate (as was the whole hotel) and there were wonderful touches with a welcome bottle of wine and nibbles, a scented candle & matches for our time there and a very good coffee machine. Breakfast was really nice. Good choice and always served with a smile! The staff were brilliant. The girls on reception were always so helpful and always had a smile for you as we walked past to our suite. The location is brilliant. Pyrgos is the highest town in Santorini and is a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Loads of lovely bars and restaurants. Definitely recommend Penelopes, fabulous food and staff. The great benefit of this town is that it is much less touristy than Fira and Oia. We took the bus to Fira (only 2 euros) and even though it was the start of the season it was still busy. We were glad to come back to Pyrgos. Skyfall Suites is not a big hotel so feels really special and intimate. The staff were all wonderful and so welcoming. You may read about Fira and Oia having amazing sunsets but we did here too as the photos show. Thank you Skyfall Suites for an amazing week. We definitely did not want to come home!

    Amazing stay

    rating04 Jun 2025

We visited in May for 7 nights for our honeymoon. The hotel was amazing! From the moment we arrived the staff could not do more to help us - this was from hiring a car by recommending places to helping us understand the buses. The hotel has incredible views and you can even see the airport from your room! The hotel itself is really well maintained. Rooms are cleaned daily as if the “hot tub”. The cleaners were always really friendly and could not do more to help. We stayed in a junior suite with private hot tub. The views from the windows were incredible! Our suite was really spacious as was the outside patio area. The room had a tv and aircon with a safe and mini fridge. The fridge is stocked with alcoholic and soft drinks with a list of the prices for each item. The private hot tub was “Luke warm” and was one temperature throughout meaning it could be cold at times. You get towels for the pool daily in your room for each guest as well as towels available on the beds around the main pool. There is one main infinity pool which again is in perfect condition (a little cold)! With beds around the pool - mostly in the sun and one shaded. The pool area was quite quiet at most times. The staff come with a menu to ask for any drinks/food. For breakfast you eat at the main restaurant which again has the best views! The menu for breakfast is quite limited - you get a bread basket, then can choose from granola, yogurt, boiled eggs, omelettes, sunny side up eggs with toast and some extras like bacon, sausage, ham etc. You have access to tea, coffee, water, juices etc. The one thing which we struggled a bit with was the location. The hotel is stunning however it is in Pyrgos which is away from the main tourist areas. We didn’t find this too much of an issue as we hired a car, however we found the buses were really hard to understand and if you wanted to get anywhere taxis are quite expensive and for the buses you need to use a bus to the centre of Santorini (Fira) and then a bus from there to whichever area you need to be in. Buses were cash only also. We found we struggled with buses and getting back from Fira in an evening as buses only dropped you at Santo wines which was a 30 min walk. Overall, I would recommend. The views are incredible and I would visit again! Tips - - Recommend hiring a car - Prepare for a lot of steps and hills!- Visit the Kantouni sweetery - it is a 5 min walk on the square and the sweet treats are absolutely incredible!! We visited pretty much every night and they were so reasonably priced!!
