    Can't beat the view!

    A bit late in writing my review but I could not have chosen better accommodation. After reading reviews, I chose an upper floor room (higher cost) and the view and the room itself were wonderful. Photos of the rooms on the hotel's webpage are accurate. They are clean and well maintained. The reception staff were always friendly and helpful. The breakfasts, delivered to my room, were amazing. Yes, there is a moderate uphill walk into Thira Central but the location and quality of this accommodation negated that for me. I was there for 3 nites and could easily have stayed longer. This hotel offers prime views of cruise ships coming and going. The supermarket down the hill was a bonus. I would definitely return.

    I stayed for 5 nights at The Last Sunbeam and had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent throughout my stay, and the staff were always kind and helpful. The receptionist in particular gave me great recommendations about places to visit and where to eat, which really made me feel like a local rather than just a tourist.The hotel itself was very quiet, spotlessly clean, and offered beautiful views, which made it even more relaxing. Another lovely detail is their cat, Blondie, who has been around the hotel for over 10 years and often keeps guests company nearby — such a sweet touch that made the stay even more memorable.

    Wonderful hotel in Fira!

    I had the privilege of staying at The Last Sunbeam last September, and I absolutely loved this place! My room had TWO private balconies, a larger one facing westward with an AMAZING view of the caldera, and a smaller one facing southward. Breakfast was served out on the main balcony and was quite tasty. Upon check-in, you are given a sheet to check off which items you'd like included in your breakfast. Mine included scrambled eggs, bread with ham and cheese, yogurt, and cute little mini apple pies. Words cannot convey what a wonderful feeling it was enjoying this delicious breakfast while sitting in front of this beautiful view!I also appreciated the little sitting area. A couple of the places I stayed at later during my trip had no chairs or sofas at all, which made me miss the sitting area at this hotel, even if I didn't use it much during my stay. Another noteworthy quality of this hotel is its proximity to the bus "terminal" (Those of you who've been to Santorini know it's more of a chaotic little parking lot, but I digress). It's located a short five-minute walk away, making it super convenient for those relying on busses to get around the island.I unfortunately only stayed here for one night before staying for two nights up by Oia. In all honesty, I liked this place more and wish I had spent all three of my nights in Santorini at this wonderful little hotel. Yes, I'm probably overly gushing over this place, but I truly did love it here and cannot think of any real complaints. Out of the four places I stayed in during my trip to Greece (including a hotel in Mykonos and a cute little apartment in Athens), The Last Sunbeam was my favorite. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

    Beautiful views, but very noisy

    Pros: amazing views, friendly staff, the hotel cats joining us for breakfast.Cons: do not stay here if you like sleep. This is the noisiest hotel I’ve stayed in. You can hear every foot step from the rooms above and when your neighbours flush the toilet or run water it sounds like the walls are about to cave in. We were on the ground floor, maybe higher rooms are better but I had 5 nights of little to no sleep which ruined my holiday. The plumbing needs seriously looking into. Even my husband who normally sleeps through anything was woken up several times a night.

    Small and friendly hotel with gorgeous views!😍🌅 only stayed a few nights because we was island hopping! Breakfast was so good, was all set up on the terrace for us to enjoy with the view's. Good location. You don’t even have to go somewhere fancy to watch the sunset, we watched it one night round the pool!
