  Beautiful, what you see is not what you get

  Booked a transfer from airport, cost 30euro, was a shared mini bus, not private. Only 2 miles from airport and would have been 15 by taxi. Arrived, a lovely welcome and a beautiful hotel/villa. Room was lovely and clean, an adequate size for me as a solo traveller.If one looks at the pictures, the rooms look amazing, they are not, they are adequate and do not have enough facilities to ensure that you have a comfortable stay. There is no onsite place to buy a drink/coffee etc also no where in the room where one can boil water to make ones own hot drinks. The room does have a fridge, but to fill it you need to walk 10 mins to local shops and 15 min walk back;)I am being quite negative as the information on the hotel suite does not say anything about the room facilities, they should warn customers that there is not the service one would expect. The hotel is not suitable for young children or people with mobility problems. The pool is very deep and no warning.On the plus side, the cost was good and the young lady who welcomed you was very good. But do not try ringing for room service, phone never answered.

  Amazing Room, Friendly Host, Great Value

  A beautiful hotel with stunning rooms nestled in a residential part of the island. The room(s) itself was amazing, far (far) larger and nicer and romantic than expected. The service was excellent, the breakfast a treat, and the hostess was super helpful when booking tours. An amazing value for its cost.The only downside to the hotel is its location, being a short drive away from the beaches, the caldera, and the major cities.

  Stylish Villa in a Quiet Street of Messaria

  Initially we had trouble finding the villa since we arrived in Thira airport late at night. We rented a car and drove to a point on Google map and we reached the other establishment by mistake (they have two locations in Santorini, so make sure to double check the address). At night it is not so easy to find the villa because the streets of Messaria are not well lit, but we had help from the locals (don't hesitate to ask around). Our room was small (we went for the standard room) but it was more than sufficient for us since we only have one big luggage and two small backpacks. Wifi in our room somehow didn't work; had to use wifi for the whole villa which was not available in our room. But we were fine just sitting by the pool or at the terrace when we wanted to use the wifi. The staff are friendly, the building is beautiful and well managed, and the continental breakfast was tasty. There were a couple house cats roaming around the villa, which were nice if you like cats :) All in all, we really enjoyed our stay here, away from the rest of the busy, touristy parts of Santorini.
