    A fabulous hotel

    We have just returned from a week at this beautiful hotel. Everything was fantastic from start to finish. The staff in the hotel were so friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. A special thank you to Erriketi who greeted us most days in the restaurant. What a beautiful young lady with a smile so big and welcoming. Our room was beautiful. It was very large, spotlessly clean and we had our own jacuzzi on our lovely balcony. The pool we used was excellent and the sunbeds were the most comfortable we have ever had on holiday. Our Tui rep was so professional and helpful. The welcome meeting she held was very informative and she was always on hand to give excellent advice and information. Breakfast and dinner were buffet style which is not my favourite as I find food in buffets to be lukewarm, but the food itself was varied and perfectly fine. The homemade pancakes at breakfast were delicious. The fine dining experience included in our holiday package was lovely and made a welcome change from buffet style. We used taxis and local buses with ease to visit Oia and Thira. Oia was stunningly beautiful. We went on the Sunset Cruise trip which was possibly the best trip we have ever been on when holidaying. Well worth doing. We were lucky to see an incredible sunset, the colours were magnificent.Thank you to all the hotel staff who work so hard to make this hotel as good as it is.

    We have just come back from our second stay at this hotel. We stayed here in 2019 when it first opened. We returned to see how much it had changed and we weren't disappointed.The hotel is indeed 5 stars, everywhere is clean and kepted clean throughout your stay.The staff at this hotel are marvellous. A big shout out to the tui reps, Raya, Ella and Marie who kept us busy with activities with lots of laughs along the way.If there was any issue,( I locked the safe open) the staff in reception were quick to help. Tracey the tui rep who also worked in reception was informative and help us book trips.The kitchen staff, wow they work so hard and cooked amazing food.The waiting staff, a big shout out to Nikolas and Anglos who were always smiling and genuinely happy to help.George the general manager also kept us entertained joining in with aqua aerobics.These are just a few of the staff however I never met anyone who didn't smile and nothing you needed was too much trouble.Thank you to you all for making our holiday one to remember.See you all again in 2024Room 626, August 9th - 23rd

    This is an exceptional hotel, beautiful rooms and excellent cleanliness. Facilities,food and facilities all create an amazing relaxing atmosphere. The staff in the restaurant are excellent especially Theodora and our waiter Nicolaus. Highly recommended and will definitely be back again soon. Thank you 😊

    Truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. Each member of their team was welcoming, friendly and helpful, no matter which service. Even though the breakfast & dinner were buffet options, they were always fresh no matter what time you entered. I could not see it on the website, but Meltemi Blu has an entrance onto the beach with comfortable beach beds supplied. The rooms were clean and fresh. There is a lot of attention to detail in the rooms. I will definitely be returning. I have stayed on other parts of the island which seems to always be overcrowded whereas Perissa is a chilled area yet still has its own atmosphere. All the local are friendly.

    We have just returned from a fantastic stay here for my husbands 50th Birthday. The hotel is fantastic and absolutely spotless. The air con in our room was not working when we arrived so we were moved to another room for one night.I had organised a meal on the beach on the day of my husbands 50th birthday. Massive thank you to Nehir who was so efficient and organised this for me. Sadly on the day it was too windy so were moved to near the beach bar but it was still amazing.A couple of things that were not great...In the restaurant our waiter said he would pick a wine for us and it was one of the most expensive rather than mid price. Also on the last night the waitress recommended a wine that was from Santorini and 7 euro a glass. However when they came with the tab that we was to be charged to the room I had been charged 12 Euro for the glass! I queried it with the waitress and she said that the one she had recommended they did not have so they picked another!! I was not happy as they did not even check with us. I was told as I had drank it I would need to pay for it and with people from other tables looking at us that is what we did. I was not happy. Generally with wine they have a big selection on the wine list but few actually in stock.The day we checked out we realised we had also been charged for the drinks during the meal at the beach. Within the package we had included a bottle of wine which I chose not to have as my husband does not drink wine and I would not consume a whole bottle. So I had 2 glasses and he had a beer. We were charged extra for these drinks even though we had not had the bottle of wine. Everyone from the managers, bar staff and cleaners were always smiling and welcoming to the guests. When we were handed the final bill they had added 600 Euros extra 'by mistake'. No idea where these had come from as they were for accommodation and we were with TUI. They were removed but we left feeling the final 2 days had changed our initial feelings about wanting to return. Having said all that I would go perhaps again but would be careful with drinks orders.
