  ⭐ 1 Star – Avoid at All CostsI booked Atlas Hotel Skiathos with a clear guarantee of a full refund if cancellation was made within 14 days of arrival (my stay was due to begin 29th May 2026).Sadly, I was diagnosed with a terminal illness and had no choice but to cancel well within the agreed terms. Under these circumstances, you would expect compassion and professionalism — but that has not been my experience.For months, the hotel repeatedly promised a refund of €2,040, yet these promises were never honoured. Instead, I was met with constant delays, excuses, and a complete failure to follow through.In the end, I had no option but to involve my credit card provider and pursue a chargeback to recover my money.This has been an incredibly stressful and upsetting experience during an already very difficult time in my life.I strongly advise others:Do not rely on their refund policiesBe extremely cautious about providing your credit card detailsConsider booking elsewhere to avoid potential issuesVery disappointing and completely unacceptable service.

  Cancelled booking, won't refund money

  This hotel is a scam, I made a booking last year through booking.com, the Hotel took half the money straight away, this isn't mentioned until confirmation has gone through. It was meant to be free cancellation till the month before. I had to cancel my booking and have now been fighting with the Hotel and Booking.com to get my money back. This has been going on now for two months and I have had to resort to my credit card company to get the money back. The hotel have ignored all communication, when threatened with reporting them to social media, they promised the money but I never get it. Ice hae enough and now naming and shaming them. Do not book this hotel.

  I cannot give this hotel enough credit. The staff was so helpfull and the rooms are very clean and cozy. Right in the town center on Papadiamantis street.

  Excellent location, right in the centre of town, on the pedestrian street and close to the restaurants, cafes and shops. We enjoyed our week very much, the staff are friendly, welcoming and go out of their way to be helpful. Our room was compact, but cleaned every day and had access to a patio next to a small garden with a variety of trees, floodlit at night. There was plenty of hot water in th shower but it flooded the room every time we used it, despite our best efforts. The hotel is being refurbished soon, we were told and we hope this issue will be resolved in the design of the shower enclosure because otherwise, we thought the hotel was an ideal place to stay as well as brilliant value for money and we would stay here again. A couple of drawers would also be useful for people staying longer than a couple of nights, because the wardrobe only had hanging space.
