Lovely location .. x our 2nd visit to this hotel . Great rooms & balcony’s as low level accomadation. Not sure we would splash out to a room with its own pool in May as weather can be changeable. Beautiful beaches.We stayed bed & breakfast both times as there are so many local authentic tavernas with great atmosphere to try to suit all budgets .Staying in the grace area both times x perfect location in koukanaries to eat locally or jump on bus to skiathos town .The island has it all and could return time & time again . We went on a day trip to Skopelos & ellinos which was great . Skopelos had a very calm and magical atmosphere as we had drinks & lunch by the port. Ellinos was more rural and steeped in history. Elvi staff were very helpfull.Very much a beach destination holiday.

From our considerable travel experience we need to be clear that the Elivi is definitely not a 5 star resort. Far from it.The only positives from our recent stay are its location and views. The only positive with our “ junior suite “ was the comfy bed. If you are contemplating booking a Nest junior suite please be aware of the extremely impractical shower, toilet and basin which are ‘open’ and on view from the bed and sitting area. The staff were very hit and miss. The buggy chauffeurs were generally very helpful as opposed to the indifferent reception, bar and restaurant staff members.For the price we paid we expected so much more. A very disappointing stay overall.

What a wonderful day we had exploring the beautiful island ofSkiathos with our driver and guide Dimitris in his off road jeep. We visited so many interesting places including the Monastery and Castle via some amazing country lanes and forest roads and Dimitris added to the experience with his knowledge and conversation. Just had a week in Elivi Skiathos, a perfect week we stayed in the Grace side which was so peaceful, the staff were all lovely and food was good. It was lovely to be able to walk done to the beach, we loved it so much we have booked for 2027 ??

Beautiful, relaxing resort with a few niggles

Beautiful resort with lots to like, but a few avoidable nigglesWe stayed in room 1615 in Nest Grove with a private pool and really enjoyed the resort overall. It is large and very hilly, so the free buggy service was genuinely useful and very efficient. The WhatsApp service to reception and guest services was also excellent, with consistently quick responses.Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a super king bed, sofa bed, private pool, terrace, loungers and parasol. The air conditioning was excellent, although it switches off whenever a door is opened and needs turning back on afterwards.The staff were friendly without being intrusive. The pools were warm, the loungers at both the pools and beaches were very comfortable, and the resort never felt crowded. We also appreciated the unlimited access to beach towels and the daily bottled water in the room.Food in the three main restaurants was very good, although expensive, and the different menus at the beach bars added some welcome variety. AlaMar, just next to the hotel, was also excellent. I also had a lovely spa treatment.A few things did detract from the stay. We were badly bitten by mosquitoes around our private garden and terrace, there were persistent wasps at dinner at Leda and Nest, and ants at Haramo. The bedroom floor also never felt properly clean, even after housekeeping had been in. Breakfast was perfectly good but became repetitive, and the gym is very small for a resort of this size.Overall, though, this is a beautiful and relaxing resort with a lot going for it. Most of the negatives were relatively minor rather than deal-breakers.
