  Perfect stay.

  Absolutely loved it at this hotel. All the staff, cleaners, reception, breakfast and restaurant were all very friendly and helpful. Loved the food at the restaurant. Our room was very clean and we had a little garden. The location of the hotel is perfect, bus stop right outside and lots of places to eat. The private beach was lovely. Will definitely be returning.   From the minute we stepped of the transfer bus, we were welcomed in, the 2 ladies on the reception desk where friendly and helpful and made us feel very special, our cases where taken to our room, which is amazing. You get beach towels, shampoo and conditioner and body wash and moistures which all smell amazing. The buffet breakfast has everything you would want, freshly made pancakes and omelette's, from your continental breafast to your cooked breakfast, bread muffins, fruit. The staff are brilliant the hotel is kept clean and the grounds ate well looked after. You are a short walk to the beach with beds, and the beach bar/restaurant its got everything you would ever need.   Excellent location and fantastic service but not 5*

  The Skiathos Princess Hotel offers an excellent location and outstanding service, though the accommodation itself feels a bit dated for a five-star property.My husband and I stayed here for a week at the end of September.The atmosphere was wonderfully quiet and relaxing. The staff throughout our stay were consistently polite, attentive, and helpful. Having direct access to a private beach was a huge highlight, although it is a public beach so get there early and also the sunbeds are very close together. There was a lovely pool which we were told was cold, but plenty of sunbeds with umbrellas. You collect pool towels from the pool bar. The pool bar and the beach bar both served drinks and food, times varied. We had a basic garden view room, which was on the second floor accessed by quite a few steps. The bathroom was lovely, very clean with a large, new shower. Plenty of towels were supplied. The lighting could have been better placed; it was bright enough but behind you. The bed, however, was the most uncomfortable I have had in a long time and the pillows were lumpy. There are tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge in the room. The WIFI was good. Breakfast was sufficient, a very slow toaster produced excellent toast but then you had to walk miles to find the butter, jams etc. It was all very spread out. There was an omelette chef and a pancake lady cooking fresh omelettes and pancakes. I was pleased to see fresh fruit available. Tea and coffee are served at the table, however, for tea lovers take your own tea bags and ask for very hot water otherwise you’ll get lukewarm dishwater Outside, the restaurants just across the road are excellent. The bus stop is almost directly outside the hotel. We paid 2 Euros for a 15-minute ride into to Skiathos Town. Just note that the buses get very crowded. Please note, it rained for most of the week. Rain also caused a 2 day delay in arriving as the plane could not land on the very short runway. Take snacks.   Disappointing Stay

  My husband and I recently returned after spending a week at the Skiathos Princess Hotel, having chosen the property on the strength of several recommendations. The hotel is exceptionally well located and benefits from access to a private beach area. As we visited towards the end of the season, the atmosphere was pleasantly quiet and relaxed, which was precisely what we had hoped for. Throughout our stay, the staff were consistently courteous, attentive and helpful.Notwithstanding these positive aspects, the overall appearance of the hotel was tired and in need of an update, the accommodation did not, in my opinion, meet the standard reasonably expected of a five-star property. We had reserved a Deluxe Room with a sea view and, although the view was very attractive, the room itself proved a considerable disappointment. The décor appeared dated, and the furniture was worn and old-fashioned. The bathroom likewise fell below the anticipated standard: the bath was narrow, discoloured and visibly aged, while the poorly positioned shower head made showering uncomfortable. In addition, the cracked worktop surrounding the sink required attention.The restaurants across the road are good and the bus stop outside the hotel is great, the bus service is extremely efficient and takes about 15 minutes to the main town where you will find an abundance of bars and restaurants. Only negative is the buses can be very busy so avoid peak times.   Great location cold food

  Great hotel location only disappointed with the failure to keep food a breakfast hot . Everything everyday was lukewarm warm or cold . Tip get a microwave into the server line .
