  A beautiful hotel in a wonderful location, with a luxurious ambience and discreet staff who make you feel as though nothing is too much trouble. We booked room and breakfast which was taken in the Basilico restaurant, a tastefully decorated and furnished area including an outdoor dining area. Lots of food choices with the usual omelette station as well as a crepe station, for freshly made crepes.Giorgios, one of the waiters seems to have an instinct for when you want a tea or coffee refill and like all the staff we encountered including Katie who guided us to a table of our choice every day, he was super pleasant with a friendly greeting every morning.We didn’t eat at the hotel other than breakfast but did have drinks and cocktails at Ammos, the restaurant on the beach. Again really good service and one of the best ‘old fashioned’ we’ve had, even though it wasn’t listed on the cocktail menu, as soon as we mentioned it, they said they could make it for us. The beach is soft sand and is spotlessly clean. Deep mattress sun beds and plenty of them, large beach towels are provided daily. The only sound on the beach is the lapping of the crystal clear water. Bizarrely there appears to be a resident swan just further down the beach ! The hotel is beautifully maintained, nothing is shabby , or marked, which must be difficult when most of the hotel is white.There are many tavernas across the road from the hotel and it’s difficult to pick one out as they were all excellent. We had drinks very evening at Iguana and ate at a different taverna each night. The hotel is at bus stop 16, the buses are every 15 minutes and the cost is €2.20 per person. The town is bus stop O and the other end of the route, Koukounaries Beach , is no 26. The town is lovely, much as you would expect and worth a visit and a walk into the older parts of the town as well as along the harbour. Lots of cats, who all seem well fed, clean and healthy.I didn’t take any photographs of our room as the hotel website has very good photographs We will certainly be back. Our only complaint is that we were made so welcome we weren’t quite ready to return home.   Warm welcome felt like sunshine 🌞

  Stayed for a long weekend with my daughter, the weather was particularly bad- it was cold,raining windy yet we had a glorious time once again in The Skiathos Princess.The warm welcome from all the staff of this beautiful hotel felt like sunshine 🌞 ☀️ 💛 This was our tenth visit,superb breakfast and nearby tavernas.Back again next year !   Cannot wait to book again!

  Wow, where to start!My wife and I have just returned from an amazing two weeks at the Princess resort. It’s everything that the Hotel advertises, plus more!The whole resort is traditional Greek look and feel, plus super clean, modern facilities, amazing food, fantastic location and beach. We were in the block where reception was would recommend third floor great views of Hotel Gardens and the sea. You can understand why most of the cast and crew stayed here for the filming of Mamma Mia!Loads of amazing restaurants, Taverna and bars easily accessible right outside the hotel. recommend Vesuvio, Symposio, and infinity blue! Great restaurants in Skiathos town: Bakaliko, the windmill and La dokolla. Number 16 bus stop is almost right outside the hotel too, so really easy access to all parts of the island, 2.20 euro each way, per person. Staff are all absolutely fantastic. Attentive to your needs, super friendly, always polite. Too many staff to mention all of them but But here some call outs:Elpida - waitress at breakfast and around the pool.Constantinos - really helpful front desk Marina - waitress at the breakfast Alsley - at the beach bar/restaurant. Mr Shafique - manager.Thank you all, you are a credit to the Hotel.Can’t wait to book again!   Not quite getting it right but great nonetheless

  Great week in spite of the weather.The location is fab but beach needs tidying up as do the ‘behind the scenes’ dumping areas.Breakfast choice was great; unlimited freshly squeezed OJ & an omelette & pancake chef. No hot milk so coffee was cold & food didn’t keep any heat as plates were cold.Beach bar is heavenly, great quality subbed, nice bed linen, comfy beds, lots of open space, beautiful gardens, delightful staff, nice toiletries.   Last minute visit

  We visited for 2 nights in early October, booked fairly last minute through Jet2. We were upgraded to a sea view room which was great! The weather wasn't that warm so we didn't get much use of the pool (which was freezing cold). The recent storm had brought in jellyfish to the beach too, although the sea was warmer than the pool. Our room was really nice and the bed was comfy. Good transport links, right near a bus stop to take you to town. The breakfast food was pretty good, with a selection of local foods too. Although everything could be hotter, some things were stone cold.
