  A Wonderfull Stay

  What a lovely experience. The room was not large but good value for money. It was spotlessly cleaned every day. The bathroom was large with a good shower. The pool was great and usually it was just us.There were resturaunts and a bar in easy walking distance. The beach is a 10 minute walk. Coming back it is up hill so be prepared. If you are looking for some peace and quiet, nice accomodation, and a helpfull caring host. Then book Albanis.

  Kolios in Skiathos

  We stayed at Albanis for a week during our time in Skiathos this summer. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 2 adults and 2 teenage kids and there was plenty of space for us all - it was well equipped and decorated to a high standard - highlight being a very modern bathroom which is unusual for Greece. Our apartment was kept spotless by the lovely cleaning lady with frequent bed sheet changes and fresh towels. location is great near bus stop 16 with regular buses around the island. The po area was very quiet and we often had it to ourselves although we used the Xianthe next door as they had a bar to get drinks and lovely food and despite us not staying there we were made very welcome. We loved Skiathos and will return and top tip for the beautiful restaurant close by Infinity Blue ??

  We have just left a perfect week at Villa Albanis. It was ideally situated for many tavernas and bars with easy access to bus stop 15 to travel about the Island.We had a 2 bedroomed apartment on the Ist floor with lovely views over the pool and pine trees. It was very clean and serviced daily by a lovely lady who always greeted us with a friendly face. She also helped us arrange a return taxi to the airport.Would definitely go back and would highly recommend.

  We have just spent four nights here, and from start to finish it was a wonderful stay.The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and kind. We stayed in Apartment 2, which was spacious, had excellent air conditioning, and overlooked the pool. I believe all the apartments have a pool view. On some days, the pool was so quiet and peaceful that it felt like having your own private villa.We really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. There isn't a bar on site, which we actually preferred as it helped keep the property calm and relaxing. If you do fancy a drink or snack, the Xanthi next door has a great pool bar, so we never felt like we were missing out.Our room was cleaned every day, and it was cleaned thoroughly by the lovely housekeeper.The location is perfect—just a few minutes down a gentle hill to the main road and Bus Stop 15, and a few more minutes to Kolios Beach. In the opposite direction, you can easily reach Agia Paraskevi Beach. Uphill from the apartments, you'll also find several places serving food. We especially enjoyed breakfast at Theodora, which has beautiful views over the valley, with goats and hens adding to the lovely countryside setting.We would most definitely stay here again. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi was a little hit and miss, but honestly, we were on holiday, so spending less time on our phones wasn't such a bad thing!

  Dreadful accommodation. We have been coming to Skiathos for many years and this is the worst room we have ever stayed in.

  Just arrived at the accommodation for a one week stay and we are beyond disappointed. We were allocated room 1 which is very basic and there are clear signs of damp covered up by a really poor paint job. The bathroom is in need of an upgrade and the beds and furniture are cheap and tatty. The room is nothing like the pictures on booking.com!My wife spoke directly to the owner to see if anything else was available but he was far from sympathetic or helpful claiming we have got what we paid for. I beg to disagree.We escalated our complaint to Booking.com and despite speaking to the owner they could offer us no further help. In short Booking.com have been paid and so have the owners of Albania so they are not interested. Please learn from our misfortune and do not book this accommodation!
