Situated in a beautiful location surrounded by trees. The pool is great! Sotiris and his wife were so friendly!! Hospitable staff! The manager George Kappas was very attentive and super helpful!! Never going again in this nightmare "5 star hotel", but actually 2 stars.

This is the worst, disgusting bathroom hotel room I have ever been - junior suite! They say it is 5 stars hotel, I say maybe maximum 2! Uncleaned mold everywhere in the bathroom - in the sink, on the walls, in the bathtube, on the shower, on the bathhose. Just look at the pictures. Stains on all chrome parts and the protective glass.I will not comment the degrading pool, all peeling facade walls...I can say they are acceptable for 3 star hotel.I showed the pictures to the manager and asked changing the room. Meanwhile he sent cleaning stuff to clean the bathroom. Guess what, you don't believe people who give you new room in such condition will make any difference in cleaning it again. A little mold was cleaned, but it was only for going through the motions.The next day, they showed me new room with a bathroom with the same condition, despite that they assured me and rejected my suspicions from yesterday that they are going to give me same room with low bathroom hygiene.So if you plan your family holiday here, do not make my mistake. This is totally ruining the good location and the good food in the restaurant. Seeing how they manage the rooms, I am concerned about the hygiene in the kitchen.While I am now here, I am going to need to buy hygiene materials to clean the bathroom myself. Ilio Mare merits not at al a 5 Star rating.

The hotel is rated as 5 Star however I would rate it as 3 Star max. The gourmet restaurant was closed and we saw water dripping from the ceiling. In our room shower room had 0.5 cm water after taking a shower. the guest came most of former east Europe taking food from the breakfast table, had dogs in the breakfast room, left a lot of food on the plates, and put their towels the whole day on a the canvas chair. The pool had a lot of sand on pool ground. The bar was most of the time empty. During the evening occupied by normally less then 10 people. The shopping site was totally empty. However, the staff was very friendly. Exceptional hospitality beyond expectations
