Location

This hotel is built in the center of Thessaloniki, on the beach road, just a 2-minute walk from the famous white tower and 3 minutes from St. Dimitris Church. The main shopping area, cafés and restaurants are all located in the same area as the hotel.

Facility

8 junior suites, 12 suites and 29 double rooms are available to guests in an 8-storey main building and an 11-storey auxiliary building. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities available at the hotel include a cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     Completely overpriced for a poor standard, not 5 stars at all

    We have stayed for 5 nights in their best category room, were charged 2000 euros a night when the room hasnt been refurbished in 20 years, no heating in the bathroom when it was 4 degrees outside, no valet luggage service, basic cleaning. The air conditioning is used as heating and was blowing cold air instead of hot in the bedroom. The baby cot was never decently made, pur son sleeping half on the not so clean overused mattress…When I raised the disappointment of the experience for the price I paid, no apology, the woman just left in the middle of the conversation obviously not interested in hearing a disappointed customer. On the positive side, some of the staff was nice

    It has been our permanent choice for the past several years. The sea-view rooms are absolutely beautiful, with a lovely balcony. The staff, as always, are exceptionally polite and attentive. What also sets the hotel apart for our taste is its understated elegance, without excessive decorative elements

    Elegance and style - that is Daios. It is situated on the waterfront facing Mt Olympus and it was lovely to have a delicious breakfast before setting off sightseeing inThessaloniki. The staff are really professional and helpful, and little extras like chocolates every night and sparkling wine for breakfast are nice touches. We stayed several nights in an atrium room, which was elegant, clean and peaceful and I can truly say that I have never slept in such a comfortable bed. We travelled to Sarti for a few days and the hotel kindly stored some of our luggage. Upon return we were upgraded to a junior suite with sea view which was amazing. Wished we could have stayed longer. My only comment is that the cooked items at breakfast could have been slightly hotter, but all in all a perfect stay. Thank you.

    I had the chance to stay at Daios, during a short business trip, after quite a few years since my first visit, and the hotel remains as good as I was remembering it, retaining its charm and its luxurious style. Its location is superb, for both business and leisure, while the onsite valet parking service is very handy, should one arrive by car.My room, this time, was at the back side of the building, looking onto an inner courtyard, thus quite dark, but it was spacious and elegant, in earthy tones design, with great bed and linen -and a fantastic, room-size, bathroom.Other than that, the service was exceptional, discreet and attentive at the same time, while the breakfast was exquisite, with a broad selection of buffet and a la carte options.Overall, a hassle-free stay, I look forward to repeating; but maybe this time, opting for a sea view room.

    The ideal hotel for anyone who would like to visit Thessaloniki. Located in the heart of the town , overlooking the Thermaikos gulf, the hotel provides excellent rooms and service making our stay comfortable. Superb breakfast and a nice sea view bar just in the front.
