  This is a beautiful hotel where you feel properly looked after. It has a lot of traditional charm but unlike many hotels which aspire to a historical feel, this hotel feels fresh and well cared for. Our room (sea view) was well proportioned with a balcony. The bathroom had a spacious shower and luxurious toiletries. Confectionary was waiting for us on arrival and there was a fridge, tea and coffee making facilties in room and room service available. It was a nice space to sit and relax in after a day sight seeing, and not just a place to sleep. Breakfast was plentiful and good quality - lots of choice with both continental and cooked options, local delicacies, crepes and cakes, fresh fruit and orange juice. Plenty of space and a nice shaded terrace. Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The hotel is handily positioned for restaurants in the trendy Ladidika district with a bus stop by the front door and metro a short walk away so you can get to the sights in the upper town easily. We didn't get to try the spa but one is available. A great stay!   Bad experience with unyielding hotel management

  We were planning to go to Greece last fall to celebrate our wedding anniversary and booked the only available rooms that were listed as non-refundable for us and our parents. Shortly before leaving, my husband was in a car accident and could not travel. We asked for a credit, but the office kept telling us that they could not offer refunds, which we never asked for. I sent notes from doctors, surgeons, photo documentation of my husband's injuries, requesting a credit so that we could return but were told by hotel management that they would be keeping all of our money. We had our wedding party at the Palace and could not wait to go back but after this experience, would not return and will discourage our family and friends. We understand that it is a business but even the airlines showed more compassion during this awful time than the Mediterranean Palace.
