Lovely hotel . Room & facilities really clean . Excellent staff . Gretta at breakfast. George the owner anything you need hes there for you. Always front & center of the hotel , always walking around the hotel making sure everything is perfect for his guests . A real happy chappie . Vivien at the bar takes great pride in her bar area & takes care of the pool.area . A real asset to the hotel . Such a lovely lady always smiling & polite . She just warms your heart with her laugh ?? Also not to forget Johnny the cat who forgets to go home to his family . A real friendly boy . Fits in well with everyone at the hotel ??It's a bit of a walk to the beach (30mins) but being honest the pool area has lovely & comfortable sunbeds & a well stocked bar for any snacks or drinks you may fancy

Amazing Agrilia

We stayed for week mid September travelling as a couple. Location. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the shops, bars and restaurants. There is a limited bus service you can use or you can get a taxi. George offers a twice per day shuttle bus if you want to go to Kalamaki beach. Hotel and Rooms. The hotel is nice and clean in all areas lovely comfortable beds at the pool hot tub at one end of the pool and pool towels are available at 2 euros. There are always bed’s available.The drinks and food at the pool are good and reasonably priced. There is a 2 for 1 offer on limited cocktails in the evening.Rooms are basic but cleaned everyday, air conditioning is 10 euros per day, fridge in the room and the beds are super comfy. Service. The staff are lovely all very helpful and answer all of your questions if you need any help. Atmosphere.The atmosphere is very chilled and quiet which is nice as this is what you go on holiday for to relax.To sum everything up I would say The Agriia is a wonderful hotel in a peaceful tranquil location and is very welcoming and accommodating- I would definitely refer on and recommend if I knew anyone was to come to Zante.Thank you to all of the team and not forgetting Jonny the cute pussy cat who visited us most days.

A peaceful retreat in busy Laganas

Located a 20 minute walk from the "wild zone" of Laganas, we stayed at Agrillia for a week in August. Having gone past many hotels on the tour operator transfer from the airport, we were VERY pleased that the Agrillia was not in central Laganas and is an adult only hotel. The room was clean and tidy, if a little dated, but a comfy bed and decent shower made it perfect for us. We did have to pay extra for the air conditioning (€10 a night) but as it was in the high 30s all week, worth the extra. The breakfast was excellent with many hot and cold options, or just have both as it was help yourself. The waitress Greta was very attentive and chatty making the experience very enjoyable. The hotel does not do restaurant food outside breakfast, but snacks/ chips/ panini are available from the bar all day and evening. Talking of the bar, the bar lady, Vivienne, was also great fun, chatty, informative and makes some excellent cocktails. The hotel was quite full when we were there but we never struggled for a sun-bed. The decking around the pool is due for renewal as we were informed by the owner George, who was also like his staff, knowledgeable, attentive with nothing too difficult for him to sort out. To eat in the evening, it's a 20 min walk to the mini-strip, or €10 taxi to anywhere within central Laganas. Loads of choice there. Only 10 mins away is The Grumpy Chef restaurant which gave us our best meal of the week and comes highly recommended. Overall, yes we would go back to Agrillia and recommend it to our friends. If the decking was done and restaurant open at night, it would have been 5/5.

The stay at the agrilla hotel was lovely, it’s a bit out of the way of the main strip of Laganas which means it’s much more peaceful which is what we loved, the staff were so great with us especially George and greta. They made sure our stay was comfortable and relaxing. Would highly recommend
