    I am writing this from the pool of our villa and my only regret is not booking for longer. We are a family of four with a 13 and 15 year old. Algeria was perfect for us- a gorgeous pool of our own nestled amongst colourful oleander flowers, three different beaches to walk to (and one with limitless water-sport options), ample restaurants and a short drive to rent a boat and spot loggerhead turtles and explore the coastal caves.Our welcome could not have been better- such care to provide any information that could help make our stay as perfect as possible. They’ve thought of everything.Thank you Dimitri!

    It's a good thing there's a review limit, otherwise I'd write a book here. I'll start by saying we had such a great time on the island that we extended our stay for another week! We had the opportunity to stay in both the villa and one of the apartments with shared outdoor. The place was simply perfect, a hidden gem. The host is amazing; whenever a problem arose, he immediately responded and arranged for repairs. All the amenities listed were available. The place was very clean, and the host also offered housekeeping during your stay, but my partner and I decided to keep it clean ourselves, although I admit that this is a very nice convenience, especially for families with children! Also, if we ran out of dishwasher tablets or needed to take out the trash, the cleaner was there within minutes! The host also offers additional children's accessories, such as a highchair and a travel cot, and there are buckets and toys for children in the shared space! This was a real plus. The kitchen was very well equipped; we probably didn't miss anything! The common area is very cozy, with plenty of hammocks and swings, perfect for relaxing and immersing yourself in nature. Both the villa and the common area had a pool, which was also a perfect addition on hot days. Definitely one of the best properties we've ever stayed in! Definitely good value for money! This place made our stay special, thank you Lia, hope to see you again!

    The maisonette was beautifully dressed but sadly it was not for us. What we had not realised is the maisonette’s were 2 storey and we were given an upper one as we were not given the option to choose so not only was there 2 flights of stairs to get to it there was then a very steep stair case to get to the upper bedrooms that had good hanging space for my wife’s dress’s and plenty of drawer space. The lower bedrooms had no drawer space and very limited hanging space. The downstairs bathroom was so small you could barely walk between the basin ( which was not attached to the wall properly) and toilet. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything you would need but the dishwasher and washing machine were both in need of some maintenance as both were not reliable on functionality. The towels were very small and you could not wrap them round yourselves. The balconies were a lovely place to sit and enjoy the views but the jacuzzi was slow to fill and not all of the jets worked. The second level maisonette’s are not for anyone with any form of disability or of a certain age. The walk to st Nicholas beach is not 3/5 mins it is more like 20mins so again not for the faint hearted. Overall if we had had a lower maisonette or been given a choice it would have been a great holiday but sadly not. Please do not be deceived by the pictures they are now very tired and not well maintained. As for the distances from your beaches, it was known before you chose us that it is approximately 250 m. We tried to do our best and gave you a maisonette on the upper floor so that you would have a spectacular sea view and peace. If you had asked us in advance for a maisonette with direct access to the garden, we would have clearly satisfied your request. Unfortunately, you did not inform us of your mobility problems, as our other customers do, and we take care of their comfortable stay. I would not like to mention the problems in the house because it is known from the other comments of our customers both on Booking.com and on other sites that they rate us excellently and have not expressed similar complaints. The house is large with 3 bedrooms and an internal staircase, everything is mentioned in the description of our site. If there are problems with any functions, bathrooms, washing machines, etc. we make sure to solve them immediately, no complaints were expressed from you, except during your departure. We sincerely apologize Carol, because our concern is always that our customers have a pleasant stay. We wish you the best

    Little gem chilled paradise

    A little gem that reminded me of mamma Mia set. Beautiful brickwork maisonettes , surrounded by lovely colours from all different varieties of flowers. Pool and bar area lovely and quiet , Malissa served some lovely cold beers and made us very welcome and molly the dog kept us entertained. Maisonettes were spacious clean and and had a theme so very Greek. Lia made us very welcome and gave us lots of information for sightseeing on the island. The area had some lovely beaches within walking distance. The only down side was it was a bit quiet for us, but would recommend to anyone looking for a chilled base to venture out by car. Lia gave us a parting gift of a piece of pottery which her friend had made which was a lovely touch. So had a lovely 12 night stay.
