  Great hotel but needs updating.

  Total honest review, we stayed in Room 103, I have to say was given a ground floor room which was a double room and very large the bedrooms very tidy accept for long black hair in the dressing table draw with the hair dryer next to it and maybe this was an oversight issue by the cleaner so didn't think much about it, our room had a pool and sea view which was lovely with it being our first time in Zante and at this hotel, the beds were very hard even with the toppers on and having broken screws in ny lumbar spine i had to sleep on the duvets, the bathroom with bath and shower was very dated but clean but I have to point out that when the shower starts up the smell of the drains was intense, think they should use neat bleach in these places! Don't get me wrong I know it's Greece ???? and the drains are an issue at some places but we are in 2026 and I remember 30 years ago hearing about the drainage, the bathroom would overflow on the floor at times. Air con in the rooms worked lovely in 1 room but the main bedroom was leaking through, told reception twice and the Maintenance men didn't have a clue what to do! Breakfast, plenty of food to grab something but if you want a full english breakfast just go out for it cause you will not get it at this hotel, the juice machine was vile and the coffee machine had a mind of it's own and always half a cup. now they were my negatives. Location of hotel was Excellent, the grounds immaculate, the staff very polite except at the onsite shop they were always on their phones, didn't make eye contact, to even say hello was too much trouble for them, the guy who runs the shop just outside the hotel was very polite and maybe the staff at the hotel shop should have training from him. Plenty of bars and shops outside the hotel, the beach was great, the people were friendly, we had a good holiday all in all, like a holiday is what you make it and even though I might sound negative, I hope you can see the positives in what I have written. I would love to see all the old rooms done up with fresh decor and shower cubicles in all bathrooms, I'd like to see the drains dealt with and better mattresses or toppers on the beds, the sunloungers are fine but not the best and I feel money spent there would improve the situation, breakfast, please buy proper bacon and sausages and sort a new drinks machines out with better drinks. This hotel could look and be amazing. I go on holiday not to live in my hotel room or stay on the grounds so I did have an amazing holiday. Also if you see a white kitten with a ginger tail give him some love ? he's a sweet cat that I looked after whilst there.

  Just want to share that we have returned from a fantastic week here this is a fabulous hotel with a lovely location It is very clean and the staff are friendly here 5 pools including the beach pool and bar and food service during the day .It’s not Perfect but ignore the bad you can’t expect to have it just like home in another Country It’s Greece and it’s an Amazing island and a great hotel it’s what u make it don’t look for the negatives just enjoy your holiday

  I personally think for the price of this hotel,it’s extremely expensive.There’s 4 pools and then the splash pad. Most popular one being the beach front one. As I had two young children we altered between splash pad and the smaller pool. The splash pad would be amazing if it had a lick of paint and the tiles not coming away,sharp and broken. My kids had to wear swim shoes bc they both got the feet on it in the first day,simply by walking in the splash pad. The beach in front of the hotel was littered with rubbish on the sides which again is a shame that this is happening. It wasn’t loads but enough to notice if you are sitting in the beach. The breakfast was your standard breakfast at a hotel. It was offered a range of fruit, fry up and continental. We skipped it a couple of times and opted for the bakery down the road which was lovely and fresh.The cleaners and staff were very helpful and friendly. Always waving at my kids and nothing was too much of a problem. The bed was really uncomfortable,despite a mattress topper and additional pilllows. I felt bruised waking up from the lack of sleep due to the bed. The location is really good. Steps to the beach. Shops and restaurants near by. Pools are spread out and as we went at the end of August/start of September it was relatively quiet.There was a sewage type of smell across the hotel at breakfast and again late afternoon. Would we come back? Maybe. But wouldn’t be happy paying the price we had made previously especially when the splash pad was dangerous and needed a lick of paint. It definitely needs an upgrade. We thought it was ran down in parts and for the facilities… was abit too basic for the price we paid.We were in the old block, with partial view of the kids pool. This was nice as we had our privacy and a nice view (not a carpark or a tree). The balcony was bigger than I thought. Could fit 4 of us around the table. Two single beds,half a walk to divide the double bed.small tv with a few channels. Basic bathroom. Again- clean,basic,food was fine, pools nicely spread out, staff were very helpful,friendly and kind. The let down was the splash pad as it is dangerous due to sharp and rough edges and broken tiles. My two still had injuries from this despite wearing water shoes. The sewage smell that lingered at times was nasty. It was nice but I worked hard all year to afford this holiday and it didn’t seem to be what I thought.

  Not a 4 star hotel. Disappointed.

  Hotel situated in a great location. Main strip to the front of the hotel with bars, restaurants and shops and the beach to the rear. The beach is not the cleanest lots of plastics and bebris and no-one cleaning up so over the 2 weeks we were there grew increasingly bad. The hotel itself is no way a 4 Star. It's in major need of updating. We were in room 151 the room was smelly like sewage and it had mold, broken bath, the bathroom door didn't open fully as the toilet was in the way. Shower flooded the bathroom. The bed was rock hard and had to request a mattress topper which made it slightly more comfortable. The room cleaning left a lot to be desired. Staff miserable and unfriendly compared to every other hotels I have visited throughout Greece. I could go on. Smell of sewage throughout the hotel at times especially near the restaurant first thing in the morning. There are lots of pools, in my opinion the nicest being by the beach but again it was in need of update. Broken tiles sharp edges and many broken sunbeds. Lookey Lookey men did get annoying as there were quite a few of them throughout the day around the pool. TUI you need to look into the star rating of this hotel.
