    It was OK but we’ve stayed in more friendlier places. Mixed reviews on here but I can see both sides. If you spend money regularly in the snack bar, you are welcomed. We did for the 1st week. 2nd week we went to other places for drinks, breakfast and lunch. Mood changed. Dennis sometimes acknowledged us with a nod. His wife was very rude to us from the start. Moaning if we didn’t have the right money amount, shaking her head at us from over the pool, telling my husband off for showering too long before entering the pool. She told children off in the pool for splashing water onto the tiles… it was very uncomfortable. Lots of rules around pool and in rooms which is fine but I didn’t feel the welcome I normally feel when staying in other places. Been to island 20+ times and this was my least favourite.

    This place is great. Clean, quaint, friendly, well placed close to restaurants and a fantastic pool! The owners are sweet, helpfull and friendly. Ignore the one bad review from Karen. We were there at the same time and she was the problem. She was drinking a lot and was rude. The owners did nothing wrong. On the contrary the day we left, our taxi didn't show up at 5h30 am!!!! We woke Christos and Kostoula up in a panic to miss our boat. We'll can you imagine Christos got quickly dressed and drove us himself to the boat!!! That says it all! Also Dennis and Angela were great hosts and made our stay wonderful. Leaving Publis is like leaving family. Thank you so much to all the family! ❤️

    DO NOT STAY HERE!The lady owner, Angela is the most unpleasant and rude host I have ever encountered.Told on day 1 we had to have a paper cup around the pool, fine no problem but then told we had to use the same cup all day as paper cups are expensive, it quickly became soggy and could not be further used.The fridge did not keep the drinks cool enough and when I asked for ice she pulled her face and would only allow a small amount saying this was also too expensive due to high tax prices.Later when I was sat talking to another couple explaining the situation she came from behind screaming and shouting at me. She proceeded to shout at my partner at the bar. I felt so small and humiliated in front of the other guests.I believe this couple only make an effort if you spend all your time buying food and drink on their premises rather than going offside for a meal.I spent most of my holiday feeling anxious, in tears and wanting to come home.However, did enjoy it a little more at the Sofia hotel over the road where staff were pleasant and courteous.The rooms were very basic but satisfactory.No splashing allowed in the pool and a young couple who had a baby were told they could not bring the bottle of water they had bought at this establishment back to the pool once they had taken it to the room robust as a cooler for the babies bottle- why?! Maybe so the couple had to buy more.Worst holiday accommodation ever stayed in and I would avoid this place at all costs.

    We only called in to be nosey but so glad we did. What a beautiful an tranquil place. The owners couldn't do enough for you, just wished we found plubis earlier. But certainly will be returning and hopefully can book a room. Just wish we had found this idclicalic place earlier

    Hosts Dennis and Angela can't do enough for you to make your stay enjoyable. Excellent room with kitchenette. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Wonderful pool and close to beach, shops, bars etc. I made the right choice.
