  Sea View with own pool

  We were quite worried when reading the recent reviews but our experience was fantastic. We opted for a sea view with your own pool and we were not disappointed. The rooms in the main building have been renovated to a high standard. As I understand the Anex (garden view) across the road have not. Half the rooms are currently being renovated and the others have not but I was told by the lady on reception all will be completed ready for summer 2027. The room we stayed in was great. Open the doors in the morning hearing the waves crashing while having our breakfast was very nice. Cleaned every day to a high standard and fresh towels supplied. The breakfast was good Greek yogurt and fruit with a choice of hot and cold food. Just don’t expect a full English. You’re in Greece. The room have phone chargers which we found helpful. The air con worked great along with hot water that was constant. Stayed in hotels in Greece before that are hit and miss. Loads of authentic Greek tavernas in Argassi along with a few bars. Lovely in the day time having lunch down by the sea. Comes to life at night with Greek dancing in the tavernas tucking into lovely food. The two ladies on reception were very friendly and helpful. The cleaners work hard all day keeping the hotel clean. I would highly recommend this hotel but the sea view is essential to get the full experience of what this hotel can offer.

  Worst hotel ever!

  First up this is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in by far. It's not even what you'd expect from a youth hostel. Most importantly, there was a complete lack of fire detection in our bedroom. This health and safety failure caused a lot of bother throughout the trip, trying to get things sorted. After a couple of days, a domestic smoke alarm was installed (which still doesn't meet the required standards).We asked to move rooms on several occasions but were told no alternative rooms were available. This was the most serious problem, however there were many other deficiencies including damp. We were told that this is normal in Zante due to the humidity. However, the ceiling and the tiling behind the shower curtain in the bathroom were covered in mould, and the wardrobe in the bedroom made our clothes smell disgusting. The shower temperature fluctuated massively between hot and cold presenting a scalding hazard. There was no shower head attachment/riser rail on the wall, so you couldn't wash whilst the shower was running. The sink in the bathroom was cracked, the taps were useless, and the bathroom had no storage. The tiles were overpainted, and the toilet flush kept jamming, resulting in having to keep lifting the cistern lid.Our room was 100m away from the hotel and all the facilities along a busy main road. We knew we’d booked an annex room, however we expected this to be within the confines of the hotel grounds. Our room itself was 5m from the road, and the traffic noise hugely impacted our sleep quality.The hotel says it is 4 star, but it is listed as 3 star on loveholidays website. It does not meet the criteria for a Greek 4 star hotel, especially the annex rooms. As a result, the tourist tax was €70 on arrival. This is £30 more than we had been expecting to pay.The room didn't have a safe. We asked reception about this on arrival and were told it was ok because only the cleaners can access the room! (Another couple managed to get one installed in their room)The WiFi in the room was intermittent at best, and would regularly drop out. Long periods would pass before reconnecting. There were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room. This was soon resolved by reception, but they should have been in the room upon arrival. To be fair, the reception staff tried to help as best they could with the problems, but all they could say was 'we will speak to the management', who were non existent. We never saw a manager for the whole week!Overall this was the worst accomodation that we have ever stayed in. The depressing nature of the room and the constant back and forth to try and sort all the problems completely ruined our enjoyment of the holiday. Absolutely avoid!

  Worst hotel I’ve been in for 30 years dirty, black mould and cat pee smell

  In all my time in travelling to the Greek islands, this is my first encounter with mould, dirty accommodation and a bathroom for a disabled person made it a falls risk nightmare. In addition the smell of what smelt like cat pee, permeated the whole hotel, enough to make me vomit and gag, as I’ve got an immune suppressant condition the risk to my health was immediate meaning I had to leave the hotel immediately to find new accommodation that could meet my needs which was massively stressful and took all day and the following 2 days to sort out. I was unable to give Tui the time to put the situation right, but due to the immediate health and safety risks, I left the hotel immediately. The hotel apologised and were unable to offer me an alternative. The hotels location is excellent, but it’s standard is below even the most basic level of cleanliness, if you don’t mind the smell of what smells like cat pee, black mould, a cracked patio door, a tiny bathroom not for disabled people, due to risk of falls as shower tray has a large lip. The breakfast area was dark, smelt of burnt fat and dirty sauce bottles, if you can manage all these challenges this is the place for you, if not avoid like the plague. The reception staff were apologetic and friendly, which made the situation just about bearable.

  The worst experience in 15 years on montly traveling all over the world

  It was the worst experience in 15 years on montly traveling all over the world!!! The bathroom was a public toilet, full of dirt, hair and blood. When we confronted the host, they said it is not a big deal and refused to give us the money back - aprox. 180 Euro per night for this miserable room (it was prepaid). The host treated us horrible, with superiority and didn-t revolved the problem. We had to leave, we didn't wanted to catch a disease.

  I would strongly advise anyone considering staying at this hotel to stay away, especially if you are allocated to the annex, which is around 100 metres from the main hotel.We were charged an additional €10 per night in hotel tax, and although the hotel is advertised as a 4-star property, I would personally rate it no more than 2 stars at best.The bathroom was extremely small, with the toilet practically inside the shower. Several of the electrical sockets did not work, and the hot and cold water temperatures on the taps appeared to be reversed. The internet connection was unreliable, and the shower constantly switched hot and coldTo make matters worse, there was building work taking place directly underneath us, which we were never informed about before or during our stay.Unfortunately, the list of problems goes on. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
