I would never stay here again we stayed in a room right next to the bar which was open till 3am I asked the cleaners to not come in the room why we were there and I was in bed 1 morning and they just walked in when I put on the door do not disturb the best thing about the hotel was the door coming out Nicolas Efthymiou, Ge????? ??e????t?? at Canadian Hotel, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us.We are genuinely sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations and, in particular, that you were disturbed by the noise from the bar and experienced an issue with our housekeeping team entering your room when you had requested privacy. We stayed at the Canadian Hotel from 28 September to 3 October and we had an absolutely amazing time.Checking into the hotel, we were greeted by the receptionist and Panos who took our luggage and secured them away. He then took us to the Savvy restaurant where we were met by George who explained what we need to do for breakfast, taxis, trips and then Panos took us back to reception on the buggy to our room. Our room was lovely. I did ask for a room in the newer part of the building because of the bad reviews I'd read and we were not disappointed. Gorgeous room. The thought gone into the design is clear, lots of stone, we had a personal pool. The room door numbers are electronic and on the door number it details do not disturb in orange or make up room in green, that you select from. inside the room. Nice touch.Distance to strip is a 10/15 min walk, distance to beach is a 10 min walk, distance to Zante Town is a 15/20 min taxi ride which cost us €25 return for both of us.We paid for breakfast and my husband had an omelette most days and I had a full breakfast and paid the extra €5, but you could have 1 egg, 1 bacon, 1 hash brown, beans and tomatoes at no extra cost. I don't eat mushrooms.The highlight of our entire stay was the staff and the Savvy Restaurant. They have a DJ and play music all night. We were dancing in our chairs. The staff could not do enough for you. Absolutely fantastic vibe.People complaining about breakfast, shampoo and soap in rooms. We had soap, shampoo etc in our room, we used one soap only to wash our hands. When we go on holiday, we travel with a wash bag with our own, soap, shower gel etc because we only use certain products. You do have to pay €10 Euros per day for air-conditioning, but we didn't pay it. We just kept our curtains drawn in the day when we went out and I brought with me a miniature fan because I do get hot in the night.Dennis took us on a day trip via land organised via George, We had an amazing time.Another thing we loved to see were the more mature women doing all the housekeeping. Everyone was polite and friendly. Great Hotel, great staff great food and great location

If there are any bad reviews, please don’t listen to them. I came by myself and was greeted by the lovely reception staff and taken to a room which I wasn’t happy with and it was changed with no problem. The hotel has two large pools so you always will have a choice if you want something quieter at the back of the property. The restaurant at the hotel is absolutely amazing and the staff are brilliant and the food is really really good. The Cleaning staff attentive and the hotel is situated around a 15 minutes walk to the main strip. I will definitely return and we’ll do so next year.
