    Awful Place Please Don't stay Here!

    We booked the Olympic Studios through Zante Web.com. This was our 4th visit to Alykes and we've stayed in lovely places but the location of this right next to the beach really appealed to us! The photos on the website looked ok a little old fashioned but clean! How wrong were we. Where do I start? The kitchen sink was rusty and filthy, the shower had no shower head it was just a rusty shower hose you had to hold! The lamp in the bedroom was rusty, the bed was hard. The bathroom taps were rusty! I went to put my clothes away and the smell from the wardrobe was disgusting a really bad musty smell! The taps kept dripping! The floor was awful it was really dirty! The balcony looked like it had never been cleaned! The only one decent thing about it was the fridge freezer which looked new! Everything else was truly awful! We unfortunately had to endure it for 5 days till we finally found somewhere else to stay for the last 4 days of our holiday! The owner of our new place a lovely Greek man was horrified when I showed him the photos! Please I would hate anyone to stay a single moment there! Alykes is a beautiful place with wonderful people so we will go back but not here! Thankyou to Dennis at Porto Paradiso Bar for letting us stay in his lovely apartment I've never been so relieved to get into an apartment!
