Horible

The worst place I've ever stayed. Don't be fooled by the photos online—they only show the rooms with a sea view, but not the ones facing the street. The rooms are extremely small, only superficially clean, and the bathroom fixtures are old, broken, and rusty.

Could be a real 4 Star with Proper Management
27 May 2025
We stayed at the Phoenix hotel for three nights during the second week of May and found it seriously lacking in attention to detail. Breakfast service is self-serve from the buffet, there are trays and you pick your food as in a cafeteria , and if you want a decent coffee, you have to wait, as the waiters just stand around doing absolutely nothing. Once you finish eating, no one clears the tables. The food itself is mediocre, and there seems to be no supervision at all. It feels like the hotel is running on autopilot. It’s a shame because the location is fantastic—right in the center, overlooking the waterfront. For me, it’s one of the best spots. Unfortunately, the hotel is poorly managed and operates more like a small village inn on a Greek island rather than a proper four-star establishment. Regrettably, I won’t be returning, as I’m sure there are better options nearby.

Great hotel and staff to host me and my 36 friends for a big celebration weekend. Lovely breakfast. Great staff helped us with organizing dinners and taxis and organizing checkin and the rooms. Lovely renovated hotel and the location could not be better.

Enjoyed a 4 night stay is Junior suite room located on 3rd floor. The room enjoys great views of port, sea and square from a very large double balcony.Spacious and comfortable room with separate bedroom and lounge area. The suite has 2 air conditioning units, separate bathroom with walk in shower.Breakfast was good and large choice offered. You can enjoy breakfast in their clique Central Cafe bar.Quick and efficient check-in/out. Friendly and welcoming staff. This is a return visit too.
