    A pleasant stay with family but could have a few improvements

    We had a pleasant stay at the hotel and felt it was good value for money overall. The bar staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the cocktail selection was good. However, the drinks service was very slow — it often took ages to get a drink. At breakfast, there was always a long queue of tickets with just one staff member trying to manage everything, so it would really help if guests could help themselves to basic drinks in the morning.We were all‑inclusive, and the food was similar to many other hotels, but the standard was quite good. The snack menu was what we used most days — very tasty and delivered straight to your sunbed — although a few more options would have been nice.The swimming pool area was lovely, and the sunbeds were comfortable. You do need to be up around 8–9am if you want to secure the beds you prefer. We also couldn’t fault the cleanliness — both around the pool and in our room, everything was spotless throughout our stay.The location of the hotel was fantastic, with so much to do nearby. We visited the waterpark, which was great fun, and there are endless bars, restaurants, shops, and even a fun park with arcades just a 5–10 minute walk away.The only real disappointment was the entertainment. Over our 7‑night stay, there were two singers, a guitarist, and a pianist, but none were particularly engaging, and overall it felt like the hotel could offer more variety and energy in the evenings.Despite a few areas that could be improved, we enjoyed our stay and had a lovely time. With a few tweaks, this hotel has the potential to be a solid 5‑star experience.

    Rubbish hotel

    Awful hotel, would not stay here again! Have to get up at the crack of dawn to get a sunbed, staff are totally clueless, food is rubbish apart from the snack menu food you order, but you can be waiting an hour plus for this, one day we waited 2 hours for nuggets and chips! Pool matinance man is beyond rude, he shouted at my friend because she moved a sunbed in a very aggressive manner. This was brushed under the carpet by the management. Drinks are bad and again very long waits as only ever one barman. We weren’t told upon check in about any of the other hotels facilities we are allowed to use so only found out the night before we leave! Upon arrival it was 8-30pm we wanted to go straight to our room and then eat, we were repeatedly told to sit and have a drink, we did as we didn’t want to keep saying no, just to then be told oh it’s to late for you to eat now restaurant shuts at 9 and no other food arrangements can be made!! I feel like we were forced so the restaurant didn’t have to stay open for us. This is shocking this hotel is not 4 stars at all! The waiting staff are also treated badly no wonder they are clueless and can’t be bothered. We won’t be back to this hotel and we would not recommend!

    Overall a disappointing hotel

    Stayed in room 404 ,room itself was nice . View from the balcony poor and got no sun so didn’t really use it . There was no plug for bath asked several times for a replacement first it was too big then to small, in the end had to run it and use it quickly before water went . Staff were nice especially the waitress and waiters. The food looked nice but labels were all over the place and did not apply to the food there. Food very similar at every meal ended up eating out for a bit of variety. Te hotel was clean . Limited places to sit by the pool . Asked about the a la carte option that was advertised but reception didn’t know where it was said they would get to us but didn’t. Poor information about which facility we could access at the sister hotel. In all we saw some much nicer hotel options which we would choose,will not return here. Not 4 star in my opinion

    Nice hotel but wouldn't stay in the school holidays

    Nice hotel. Was welcomed with a choice of drink alcohol or juice. Yep choose the alcohol.We arrived about 1130 and had to wait till about 1400 for our room. We had the lunch and the staff took our bags to the room. The staff were great especially the bar staff. Sorry forgot their names. The lady during the day then my favourite barman in the evening. You can use next door hotel for food and entertainment but I stayed there last year and wouldn't return. This hotel is way better. The drinks are really good on the AI even includes an old fashioned. Iced coffee was included aswell. The food was good yes it did feel same most nights but we were only there for 4 nights so ate out a Couple of times.1 issue with the food , is there were times stuff wasn't labeled. The restaurant was quite small but as it was may it was never busyThe pool isn't that big and there were aboit 50 plus sunbeds around it . I think during the height of summer it could get extremely busy.We had room 401 which was on the 3rd floor at the back but we had.a view of the other hotel and the sea. Nothing wrong with the room the bed and the sofa beds were very comfortable. I'd definitely return but not in the summer

    Wonderful 10 days

    We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at the Planos Hotel. We first have to mention the wonderful staff who were very attentive nothing was too much trouble. Each and every member of staff are the hotels greatest assist and a credit to the hotel. House keeping staff were very thorough our room was kept very clean, with a change of white soft towels daily. Easy access around the hotel With the option to go to the sister hotel opposite for dining and entertainment if you wish. We did not experience any noise at all. Again we must mention the very friendly and always smiling and welcoming staff really made our stay. The atmosphere throughout set the tone for the lovely experience. Yes We would definitely recommend this hotel. The beach was only a short distance away our only negative was that it was very narrow. There was no charge for the safe deposit box or bottled water.
