THE MOST HONEST GUIDE FOR PORTEGO FOR LADS/GIRLS HOLIDAYFirstly, there are positives and negative for this hotel. Mainly i would love to highlight the sense of humor and patience the owners have, they were very understanding and reasonable with our group that caused a few problems and made time tough for them and we apologize, However, for what you pay for this is no way a 2 star hotel, never in a million years, a negative we found was the distance from the strip, it is walkable however I believe its like 45 minutes and can be tough in the heat in the day but taxis are easily sorted by the owners and pretty much no cost when you split between a group. The pool is good sized. Great value and you certainly get what you pay for in terms of cleanliness and rooms. The atmosphere in peak season is very good if seeking a family holiday its best going quiet times as this is very popular with young groups. The owner sets out a noise limit that you cannot be noisy after 11pm. Say Gasolina at the bar, enjoy

?? 0/5 – Survived, just about.Where do I even start…The owner is like a prison warden on a power trip. Turn up with duty-free? Cheers, he’ll have that. Fancy enjoying your holiday after 8pm? Think again – this place is basically a bush camp with a swimming pool.The famous “bacon butty” deserves a special mention… served in a burger bun. Gordon Ramsay would need counselling.My mate spent half the holiday hugging the toilet after eating there, so make of that what you will.Want air con in 35°C? No worries… that’ll be another €10 a day. Cheers.The pool is like an ice rink with water in it – slippery enough to qualify for the Olympics, and about as deep as a puddle.If you’re looking for somewhere to laugh about once you’ve escaped, this is the place. If you’re looking for a good hotel… keep scrolling.Would I stay again? I’d rather sleep on the beach.0/5 ??

Hotel was average, owners could be really sound or rude sometimes. However they gave free shots to our whole group now and then. Let us play music on balcony's. Was about a 30/40 min walk from strip but reception would book a cheap taxi for us whenever needed. Good atmosphere in the hotel, pretty much everyone 18-22. Would return if bathroom is cleaned up a little bit. overall would recommend for a big group on a budget but don't expect 5 star luxury.

came here with a big group of friends was greeted with kind staff and lots of free shots ??. all the staff are really friendly, nice rooms, cleaning services, great cheap food, overall really good experience definitely recommend for young groups.

This is the best hotel I’ve ever been to the sweetest people ever and me and my group went as 18 year olds and we were worried that we’d have problems because we are a younger age group but I honestly cannot believe this place had any bad reviews at all this people were incredible and we are a loud lot, just aslong as your respectful as you should be this will be an amazing place to stay any age group. Obviously in all holiday places in Zante it’s not going to be dead quiet all the time but these people try their best to accommodate everyone and they were amazing at doing so for us.If I came back again I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
