  We stayed at the Strada Marina from 28th of October.From the check-in, we feel immediately at ease thanks to lady with dark hair and pink lipstick. She offered us upgrade to marina view room with balcony with no charge.Our room had all the necessary comforts: hairdryer, telephone, good size safe and TV, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. We had a small problem with our room, but it was fixed immediately by very friendly gentleman. The rooftop swimming pool and bar was close, as this was end of the season. You could not asked for better location, very central, 2 minutes walk to main square, all attractions, restaurants, tavernas and shops. We rented a car and we never had a problem with carpark space ( the end of the season ). We opted for breakfast only, and for the Greek standards it was great, fresh pastries everyday, fruit, cakes and good coffee. Housekeeping service - brilliant, rooms cleaned everyday, towels changed every other day.Special thank you to Yanis- very polite, well mannered and extremely friendly young man from reception. Thank you for your advice, recommendation and great chat!We had amazing stay in Strada Marina, thank you all for making our holiday so special.

  Stay close to town and port

  We stayed 2 nights here on 2 different reservations. The rooms are small and the bathroom is smaller than a cruise ship bathroom. Breakfast was average. Parking is a concern here. Perfect location and a walking distance from Port so works great if you have an early morning sail

  Nice, but not a four stars hotel!

  The hotel is perfectly located right in Zante’s harbour, offering stunning views from the rooms that face the water—especially at sunrise and sunset. While the surrounding area gets quite noisy during those times, the balcony doors do a surprisingly good job of keeping most of the noise out.The rooms are spacious and comfortable, but the bathrooms are clearly outdated. The small, oddly shaped bathtub serves little purpose and makes the bathroom layout awkward—the door can't even open fully, which is quite inconvenient. Housekeeping was adequate, and the air conditioning worked reliably throughout our stay.Check-in wasn’t ideal; we were initially met by an unhelpful and unfriendly staff member who failed to provide the necessary information. Fortunately, another receptionist stepped in and quickly resolved everything, ensuring we received the service we had paid for.Breakfast was acceptable, though underwhelming for a four-star hotel. The coffee was watered down and lacked flavor, and the selection remained the same every morning, with little variety.The rooftop is a definite highlight, featuring a small pool, bar, and restaurant with a breathtaking view over the city. The food served at the restaurant was a pleasant surprise—easily some of the best we had in town. Kudos to the chef!However, if you're staying on the top floor, be prepared for a lot of noise coming from the rooftop area above. It’s not loud music, but the constant scraping and dragging of metal chairs and tables across the floor can be quite disruptive.

  Very rude receptionist on arrival. We had a problem with our safe when we checked in at 7.30pm. Went to reception and informed her. No night staff to do the safe until 11pm.My partner was not happy and when he asked reception to come to our room she couldn’t do the same either. We asked for a different room and she was so standoffish it was unbelievable.Breakfast is a vast array but the bacon, eggs and beans are cold.The only saving grace to this hotel is its location and the wonderful helpful and friendly bar staff on the rooftop bar.No way is this a four star hotel.

  This is a slightly different review for me as I was travelling for personal reasons rather than a holiday or a business trip. My mother was taken unwell on holiday and I booked this hotel in a more rushed fashion than normal to get out to support her.ArrivalI was really friendly greeted - I’d had a long day at the hospital and was greeted with ‘we have a special treat for you - we have upgraded your room’. I’d debated for some time between a sea view room and a city view room when booking but thinking I wouldn’t be in the room a lot I’d gone for a city view - then having a sea view room was so lovely and as I ended up working early in the morning seeing the sunrise was just amazingRoomThe rooms are basic but huge and well maintained. I think my only comment as a single traveller would be that a chain on the door would be appreciated. Bed was comfortable and when I was cold the first night the team quickly found me a lovely warm thick blanket. There is a bath in the outward facing rooms but the shower is handheld - this was fine for me as a bath person. FoodAs this was the end of season the roof top restaurant was closed so only breakfast was available. (Please note that third party booking websites don’t tell you that the pool and roof top restaurants are only open June to September so check with the hotel). Breakfast was a good variety despite the hotel being quieter - the breads and pastry / cakes selection was really good. Someone in a previous review said that toast wasn’t available - there is a toaster and many choices of bread. LocationThe hotel is right on the harbour - it is a little noisy as you are right in the middle of the town but you also get the benefits of being right in the middle of town with shops and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. PeopleI’d love to give a real shout out to the team - they couldn’t have done enough for me - from offering to translate documents to printing things for me to asking every day how my mum was - I just felt well looked after and not as isolated as I could have been given the circumstances. Thank you to each and everyone of you.
