  Peaceful Haven!

  Booked for a week with my other half and we were not disappointed. Dennis the owner is a lovely friendly guy who is at the apartment each morning and super helpful.The apartments are cleaned daily and fresh towels and sheets regularly provided.We were lucky to be on the first floor at the back with fantastic views down through the olive groves to the sea.The surrounding area is full of chickens, cockerels, turkeys, not to mention the evening fly over with the local bats. Even the owls can be heard.Fantastic Italian restaurant at the top of the road, you must give this a try, a cut above your usual pizza place and a nice inclusion amongst the Greek food on offer locally.Beaches are walkable but our trip was in a very hot week so we hired a car for a few days too.Great relaxing week.

  Friendly & Quiet place to stay!

  Close to the sandy beach of Agios Nikolas, only 5 to 7 min walk through olive trees. Quiet place to stay, nice and value for money room with a small kitchen and a big terrace to have your afternoon coffee. Local market is about 10 min walk. Excellent Wifi.

  Lovely Apartment in Stunning Location

  Had a lovely stay in Villa Joanna for two weeks. Stayed in many places around Vassilikos over the last 17yrs and this was a real find. Exceeded our expectations. Clean, large top floor Apartment with two balconies overlooking Olive groves. Views down to sea and up to hills. Peaceful but only a short walk to lovely local beaches, pools and tavernas.

  I had a really lovely stay here. The room was great, it had two balconies, comfortable beds, a small kitchen and a private bathroom. Basically everything you need. The area is very nice as well, a bit remote but that's what I liked about it. There are some great beaches nearby in walking distance, such as St Nicholas and Gerakas. There are also some very nice restaurants and a supermarket close by. Last but certainly not least, the owner Dennis is really nice. He picked me up from the airport and was always available for questions. His parents (who are now retired but still visit the villa to tend to the garden) are lovely and friendly people as well. I would recommend this place to anyone!

  Villa Joanna is located at the far end of the village of Vasilikos. It is about a 7 minute walk to the main road, where you'll find a few restaurants and shops, and a 13 minute walk in the opposite direction through olive groves for the nearest beach. The apartments were clean and basic, with the biggest surprise being fantastic wifi. I visit Greece nearly every summer, and this is the first time the wifi has been excellent.The owners have recently retired and their son Dennis is taking over the business. He was very interested in getting feedback from my sister and me about our experience, and seemed open to our suggestions (AC was a bit weak, expensive orthopedic mattresses were too firm, and kitchenette could have used a bit more basics). He also provided car service to and from the airport.Our apartment had 2 balconies, efficient French doors, and shutters (which blocked out the light from the lamp in the yard that was outside our window), and a view of the sea in the distance. I expect that under Dennis's new management, Villa Joanna will see improvements.
