  What a fantastic Hotel (white Olive Premium)

  We had an amazing time at White Olive Premium celebrating a friend’s 70th birthday (7 of us ladies).The staff were amazing especially Jenny and Maria on reception. The staff in the restaurant were great they even helped us on our friends birthday by providing a cake a birthday banner and balloons. They even joined in singing happy birthday to her.The rooms were immaculate and the whole hotel was too.Did I mention the food??? Wow ?? there was something for just about everyone there. One of our party is celiac and the staff helped her identify what she could and couldn’t eat. They were so so helpful. I could not find fault with this whole hotel it was amazing. We had a great few days here and I’m already checking out prices for a holiday here with family next year.Our group also spoke about going back next year too. ??????Make sure you do the turtle island boat trip we booked at reception for €20….best €20 I've ever spent!

  Have just spent 4 nights at White Olive with friends and had a great time. The hotel is very clean and modern, location is great with everything you need in walking distance. Shower leaks around the screen unless you point the shower head directly at the wall - which is near on impossible to shower fully in that position. There are 4 pools at the hotel, but because of how the complex is built, you can’t get the sun all day, and in the afternoon, spots in the sun are limited. The food was a bit inconsistent, some days there was loads of choice, others a bit limited. But there’s loads of fresh salads, meats, fruit, pasta etc. We always found something to eat and did enjoy it on a few occasions. It was also never hot, more warm. It’s not a huge buffet and can feel a bit canteen like with people queuing to get to the food. The drinks aren’t great, the cocktails are ok but basic, small and served in flimsy plastic cups. The only bar open in the evenings is the one over the road which had no atmosphere and serves the same drinks in slightly bigger plastic beakers. It also closes at 11pm. The reception staff were brilliant, helpful and friendly as were the rest of the staff we dealt with. The downside for us was the noise in the mornings. We were unlucky enough to have the housekeepers closet outside our door. So as soon as the housekeepers start for the day there’s no sleeping in. That along with the building work behind the hotel which starts around 7-8am.I’d stay again for the location, and would recommend if you want somewhere to use as a base and like us intend on filling up before heading out. I wouldn’t recommend if your whole holiday is centred around being in the hotel all day and night and not wanting to venture out.   The hotel is very modern, clean and just a short walk to the beach and strip. The girls on reception were amazing, very helpful and always smiling! The food is very basic wasn’t for us so we ended up eating out every night although we paid for all inclusive. The fizzy drinks are rubbish and the wasps are everywhere! The only other thing that I was disappointed was with the air conditioning as it was locked and you couldn’t change it.   We’ve just returned from a week away at White Olive Premium, and here is what we have taken away from our lovely trip. Location: The hotel is in a great location. The strip is about at 10-15 minute walk, with plenty of quieter bars and restaurants on its way if you prefer this. The beach is the same distance and again, packed with bars and restaurants that cater to all types oh holidaymakers. It’s also just a 15 minute drive from the airport, which is an added bonus. Food and Drink: We were part of the all inclusive package, which included food, drinks and snacks daily. We found the food to be rather nice. We were extremely impressed with the variety, there were different meats each night, a full salad bar, plus pastas and a dessert section. I wouldn’t say the food is outstanding, but we were much happier with it compared to previous all inclusive see have attended. The drinks are great, cocktail menus, self serve beer and wine and plenty of spirits to choose from. The main problem we had with this hotel was the bar area. There’s two bars, one at the pool which is open 10.00-19.00 and one at a second pool, further away, which is open 12.00-23.00. The second pool bar is about a 3-5 minute walk away from the restaurant. So when we went for dinner, we had to take two drinks with us. We would’ve liked to have stayed in the restaurant for a longer leisurely dinner however, If you prefer something that isn’t soft, wine or beer, it’s not ideal. This also applies to the entertainment on the terrace, where there is no bar anywhere near. Entertainment:The entertainment at the hotel was rather disappointing. The two animators were great, providing Zumba and aqua aerobics daily at the pool. There is live music on a Friday and a Saturday. There is also mention of quizzes, bingo, and karaoke however, these are not greatly advertised and so these weren’t very busy. Rooms: We found this hotel to be extremely clean. Our room was spotless on arrival, and after housekeeping each day. We stayed in room 3006 which was an absolutely perfect location, on the ground floor and seconds walk away from everything you need. It was very spacious and provides you with all you need for your stay. Our only problem was the shower, which didn’t hold the water. It all flooded out onto the floor and turned our bathroom into a wet room. The air conditioning is also set to 23 degrees, and doesn’t go below this. So we found our room quite warm most nights, and it was frustrating not being able to cool it down. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay here, and would recommend it to others. The problems we had were easily overcome - and it has plenty going for it.   A big shout out and thank you to all the reception staff including Vasiliki and Simon who couldn't have been more helpful and supportive after my daughter and her friends had their phones, money and cards stolen on the beach.They kept the lines of communication open with worried parents at home, nothing was too much trouble and they provided comfort and reassurance.Fantastic guys thank you so much.
