    Stayed here first time last September for 2 weeks, loved our holiday so much we returned end of May this year and back again end of August for another 2 weeks.Vasso, Costas and family are so lovely,kind and welcoming,as is Fotis and Ioanna @ the pool bar who look after all their guests.Thankyou also to the lovely Costalena who cleaned our room daily and a regular change of bed linen and towelsThankyou to Fotis for the draught mythos, lovely cocktails, the best pina colada and of course my baileys.Lovely fresh food from Ioanna and the tasty breakfasts. Thankyou for all the late nights and laughs at your pool bar.The pool area is spotless, large pool cleaned daily,comfy sunbeds with parasols, very spacious and never a rush for space.There is a slight incline back from the stunning beach and when walking back from all the great tavernas and bars in Alykes centre,but still only 10 mins away walking through the olive groves.With help from Costas we ventured into Zante town and up to Rock cafe/viewing point, it was amazing to see such beautiful views of Alykes along with the salt flats, thankyou Costas and Vasso for all your kindness.This year we stayed twice in room 4 which overlooked the pool with views of pine and olive trees along with a few goats down in the field.First time last year we stayed in room 16 at the back, very spacious and modern, we loved them equally.It was also lovely to see returning guests which is testament how lovely it all is.Thankyou all again for our warm welcome back and making our beautiful holiday extra special.Dawn and Brian Xxx

    This is my fourth visit to Alykes but my first staying at Zante Dolphin. We booked a studio self catering but were allocated a two bed apartment overlooking the pool. The apartment was very spacious, clean and light. Ideal for us and exceeded our expectations. The view is to die for. As previously mentioned the rooms are basic but has everything you need, including a hairdryer. Although we booked self catering we ate out so the lack of toaster etc not an issue for us. We had no need to use the air con but did pay for a safe deposit box. The pool area was kept immaculate and plenty of beds for everyone. As other reviews mention Fotis and Ioanna who run the pool snack bar are fabulous and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Fotis makes a fab frozen margarita along with dozens of other cocktails. Fotis is always smiling and more than happy to tell you a joke or two! He also has an impressive collection of football shirts.Zante Dolphin is a ten minute walk from Alykes centre and on a slight incline. I didn't find this a difficult walk even though i'm overweight and recovering from a broken ankle. So don't let this put you off. The views from the apartments are wonderful and you are surrounded by olive and lemon trees. I don't think you will find a better location.I highly recommend these apartments. I will be sad to leave on Thursday but will be booking for next year!

    Wow ... what a place to stay..as a solo traveller it was in such a lovely tranquil place. Location is just off the main strip up a slight hill.. Probably not recommended for people who struggle to walk. But I loved the location. Fab? was an excellent host. I will definitely go back...highly recommended

    Had a wonderful week at Zante Dolphin. Loved the peace and quiet by the pool, and was shocked to find ourselves first by the pool most mornings, with no towels reserving beds. Fotis and Ioanna are the stars of this property, a wonderful welcoming family. We stayed in no. 15 at the back of the main apartments. Great studio, beds were comfy to start but by the end of the week I was crippled! The only negative is the door to no. 15. Frosted glass door, with a clear edging, does not give enough privacy. There is a blind on the door but it needs to be replaced, preferably with a blackout blind. The lights from the main building shine straight in the door, making for a very bright room during the night. It might not bother some, but it was a problem for us! Would I return, in a heartbeat!

    Firstly, I would like to take issue with the two reviews below that mention issues with money and dishonesty. I would say ignore these completely as they are likely utter rubbish. The rooms have safety deposit boxes, so use one. But the lovely people who run the apartments are so helpful. The many times aforementioned faces were professional, caring and helpful at all times and fantastic hosts. In everything they do they clearly value their reputation as a great place. Which leads me on. These apartments are fantastic. I went for part of my time with my eldest daughter and the latter half solo. I felt I was in a very special place. I had one of the studios at the back. I loved it. Fairly new, great shower, comfy beds, decent air conditioning, spotlessly clean. It was a lovely space by Greek standards. The pool bar was terrific, during the day, for a Mythos aperitif or a nightcap or cocktail. Cocktails are, incidentally, top drawer as is the Banana Milkshake. Pool area is lovely with great views over Alykes to the Med. This was a holiday where I was made to feel special and met a few fantastic people intent on helping guests have a great break.
