  10 night stay at Zante park

  First of all I just wanted to thank the staff at Zante park for making our 10 night stay as lovely as what it was. The cleaners especially were very lovely and welcoming each morning. We arrived at Zante park and was welcomed into a deluxe swim up room as a free upgrade, so again thank you for that. The cleanliness of the room let it down slightly, but by no means was it unliveable and disgusting like some of these reviews on here. The area of the hotel was spot on, less than a 10 minute walk from bars and restaurants, although we only went out if there was something happening such as an abba night in “the pub” or 80s night etc. we even got a taxi into kalamaki one night for €13, would highly recommend iguanas bar for evening entertainment. that was probably the highlight of our holiday. Food in the hotel was always nice, warm and a great selection, pasta, pizza, salad, continental drinks, meat, veg, we rarely ate out as it was always nice. Yes breakfast was the same each morning, but could always offer a full English breakfast and i can’t complain at that! There’s 2 large swimming pools with floating sunbeds down the middle, a swim up bar and PLENTY of sunbeds, which meant we could sun chase around the pool all day if we wanted and not have to worry about getting up early to secure a sunbed. The hotel itself was clean, lobby area i can’t comment on as never spent time in there apart from walking in and out of- but the pool area is very beautiful, so again I can’t complain. What I will say is the bathroom in the room slightly let it down, we had a bath which we never used apart from showering in however did notice bubbles coming up from the drainpipe making the tile floor slightly slippery and the temperature of the actual shower was abit hit and miss (too hot too cold) but again nothing major. Also the tv might aswell have been nonexistent as there was no English channels apart from one which was American news, again wasn’t an issue on holiday apart from when it was raining for a whole 24 hours, it did get abit boring on one of the days without a tv. We treated ourselves to a spa morning as we were handed a promotional offer for a body massage, so we tried it out and thoroughly enjoyed it, so would absolutely recommend that, especially if you end up with a rainy day. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the island itself is absolutely beautiful, we would definitely come back, even with the slight downsides to the hotel as so much made up for it.   Not a 5 Star Hotel

  This is not a 5 Star hotel!!! As a rule we don’t usually book all inclusive in European places as it is nice to go out and explore, however, having gotten married last week we wanted a nicer hotel. I do not believe there was an option to go self catering anyway so we thought we would go for it. I even upgraded to the annex as we thought some privacy and our own pool area would be nice. The AnnexSeems like a lot of teenagers booked this area too, so although quiet in the day, very noisy at night with no consideration given for other guests. If you insist on coming here I would not pay extra for the annex Food Very repetitive food options. If you like pizza, pasta and salad you will love it but not much changes unfortunately so although again we paid all inclusive we ate out. Breakfast isn’t great and exactly the same everyday Staff Not much to say here really. The cleaners were friendly and the guys clearing the plates nice and friendly. Others not really Hotel itself Pool area is lovely, rooms worn and could do with updating. Cleaners always about so was kept clean. No entertainment in hotel. Main bar doesn’t open until 8. Don’t forget you have to pay tax. We wasn’t aware that the higher the rate of hotel the more tax you pay. The €105 we paid wasn’t justified Surrounding areaNot far from bars and restaurants. If you are into clubbing the strip is a 10-15 minute walk. Recommend taking a taxi to Kalamaki as food is lovely Overall the purpose of our trip was to relax following a heavy few weeks and we did do this but I would not stay at this hotel again

  FamilieWe chose Zante Park Resort because it is advertised as a 5-star hotel, but unfortunately, our experience did not meet the standards we expected from a hotel in this category.The most disappointing and concerning part of our stay was the food provided for our baby. We asked for some blended vegetables with meat, without any salt. We were given the same vegetables for three days, and by the third day the food had clearly gone bad. Of course, we did not give it to our baby, and after that experience, we no longer felt comfortable asking the hotel to prepare food for our baby.On another occasion, one of the supervisors gave me blended food that was salty, even though I had clearly explained that it was for a baby and should contain no salt. When preparing food for very young children, I believe much more care and attention should be given to hygiene, freshness, and dietary requirements.The room itself was clean, which we appreciated, but there were several issues. In the evenings, we had no hot water, although it was available during the day. When taking a shower, water would come back up through the bathroom floor drain. We also could not properly use the bathtub because there was no bath plug.The lift was another inconvenience, especially when travelling with a baby and a pushchair. It is an old-style lift with a manually operated door, which made it very difficult to use with a pushchair without someone helping to open or hold the door.The internet connection was also very poor. The Wi-Fi was weak and unreliable, making even normal internet use difficult. For a hotel advertised as 5-star, I would expect a decent and reliable Wi-Fi connection to be a basic service.Food was another area where we were disappointed. I cannot say that the food itself was bad, but the quality, variety and options available certainly did not feel like what we would expect from a 5-star resort. Breakfast was basically the same every day, while lunch and dinner were also quite repetitive. The selection of fresh fruit was limited as well.I had informed the hotel that I follow a gluten-free diet, yet during our entire 12-day stay I was never offered even a slice of gluten-free bread or a gluten-free dessert. The overall selection of food that I could safely choose from was very limited.This was particularly disappointing because, in other hotels we have stayed at, once the restaurant staff were aware of my dietary requirements, they would usually approach me and either offer gluten-free bread or simply ask whether I needed anything. Here, despite the hotel being aware of my dietary requirements, I did not experience that level of attention at all.Another disappointment was the lack of plant-based milk options. We normally drink plant-based milk, but there was none available at the buffet. If you wanted some, you had to specifically ask a waiter, and the only option available was soy milk. For a 5-star resort, I would have expected at least a few basic alternatives, such as oat or almond milk, to be readily available.The coffee from the machines was also particularly disappointing and did not taste good.Overall, there were some positive aspects, such as the cleanliness of the room, but unfortunately there were too many issues that, in my opinion, do not match the standards you would expect from a 5-star resort.After a 12-day stay, our impression is that the hotel needs significant improvement, particularly when it comes to catering for guests with dietary requirements and families travelling with babies. The biggest concern for us remains the way our baby’s food was handled. Hygiene, freshness and attention to dietary requirements should be absolute priorities, especially when preparing food for a baby.

  Having read some negative reviews about this hotel I feel it’s right to set some perspective. I didn’t book it thinking it was a 5 star hotel as it’s listed as a 3star plus with Jet 2. Is it 5 star hotel- no. But there’s not a lot wrong with it. They are in the process of updating rooms. We traveled as a family & booked 2 rooms. One standard double & one with a private pool. The standard room was very modern & had a fab huge walk in shower, no bath. The bed was new & it had modern furniture. Only downside was the only mirror was in the bathroom. The room with the private pool had dated dark furniture but was clean, a decent size & lots of wardrobe/drawer space plus dressing & full length mirror. The restaurant was good, they had a decent selection of varied food for every meal. Was there pizza & chips every day - yes. But there was also 3 different salads on offer, different soup daily, 2 pasta dishes plus a selection of Greek/Mediterranean dishes. The pool area was lovely & despite the hotel being busy you could get a sun bed even if you went out at 11am. The main pools & private pools were cleaned daily. The gym was small & not air conditioned so was hardly used as pretty unbearable in August! The spa offered typical treatments for reasonable prices. The staff were helpful & polite. The drinks were a let down. The soft drinks were either watered down or so sweet the only bearable offerings were water or the equivalent to Orange Fanta. The wine was like vinegar but the beer was drinkable. Most the cocktails were either too powerful or too sweet. The snack bar was disappointing & they ran out of ice cream often. All in all though we had a positive experience at this hotel. I didn’t come away overly disappointed or feeling like I got a bad deal. The location was great, a short walk from the beach & strip. There were 2 very good restaurants right opposite, Apollon & Savvy - definitely worth a visit.

  Lovely friendly hotel.

  We were moved here by EasyJet Holidays due to a change & the staff were exceptional! Special mention to Sonia & Hera on the front desk! We had to move due to plumbing to their sister hotel (galaxy) but they made it so easy with no stress! We came back to stay here on our last day & it was fantastic! The private pool rooms are great for couples and very special. Good location with lots around.
