    Excellent hotel experience in the more suburban area of Hong Kong. Check-in process was efficient, not too much of a queue. The rooms were properly spacious (rare in HK), clean, and well-appointed. I appreciated the rooftop pool, which also has a nice view over the Sha Tin district. The breakfast was just okay for a 5* property, priced reasonably but a bit lacking in variety.Note that although it is a short 5mn walk away from the MTR, it is located a bit away from the usual tourist spots and West Kowloon. Was not an issue for me (I didn't want to stay in the touristic centre) but worth considering if you have an early flight/train.     Amazing stay at Alva Hotel

    I had an amazing stay at Alva Hotel by Royal. The location was perfect within walking distance to City One or Shek Mun metro station. The room was modern, warm design and the bed was comfortable. Reception and Concierge staff were friendly. Hotel bicycle lending service was a highlight, could using for 2 hours daily. Highly recommended!
