    We stayed in this hotel for the first time. Our experience was great. The front desk (Ms. Kobe) was very helpful. The room is neat! The hotel is close to bus station (A21- direct bus from/to airport) and MTR. Good restaurant close-by.Will consider staying again in the future.     (1) The location of this hotel is very convenient if you will like to have easy access to public transportation and local restaurants. Both the metro and bus stations can be reached on foot within 5 to 10 minutes.During our recent trip to Hong Kong, my husband and I took less than 40 minutes via the metro from the Hong Kong International Airport to Mong Kok. It took us another 10 minutes on foot with our luggage (each of us had one hand carry suitcase plus one good size backpack) to reach the hotel without issues. Many local restaurants, bakeries, even a local market with fruit stands were available in walking distance. We appreciated the fact that the neighborhood was not a tourist spot, so the price of the restaurants and bakeries were very inexpensive. (2) The staffs are very helpful. Simon Lee is probably one of the best hotel managers I have encountered during my decades of travel. He’s very knowledgeable and responsive to our needs. He and his staffs had made our stay a joy.(3) The hotel room is a good deal for practical tourists like us. Even though the hotel room was relatively small in comparison to most American hotels (it’s common in Hong Kong), but we were surprised to find it very accommodating. Besides the usual electrical water kettle, it also provided us a good size water filter in place of the usual bottled water (plastic bottled water is now prohibited in hotels due to recent change of environmental regulations in Hong Kong), it also provided us a small microwave, mini refrigerator, and a drawer of cups/plates/silverware. So we could cut up and share our foods/fruits inside our hotel room easily. As we are the type of practical tourists simply looking for clean, comfortable, convenient and budget friendly hotel rooms in a city like Hong Kong, this hotel has certainly exceeded our expectations.     It has been a while since my last visit to Hong Kong. This time, I returned mainly to see my family and visit Disneyland. We booked a suite with a bathtub, and the room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. A huge thank you to Jess for being so welcoming; she knew we were heading to Disneyland and even gave my kids some lovely Disney gifts. If I return to Hong Kong next year, Lodgewood will definitely remain my top choice.     We enjoy our stay at Lodgewood a lot. Jessie was very welcoming upon check in and allow us to check in earlier than the official check in time. The room was spacious and clean. Water dispenser and microwave were equipped in room which was fantastic.
