Location

This luxury hotel is located atop the impressive Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on the Wan Chai waterfront. The Star Ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui departs directly opposite the hotel. It is just a 5-minute walk through the covered walkways to the major commercial buildings in Wan Chai and to the Wan Chai MTR subway station. The CBD and major shopping areas are a short, 5-minute taxi ride away.

Facility

The hotel has 809 rooms, including 53 suites and 29 single rooms, which are located on 42 storeys and are reachable by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Parking facilities available to guests include a garage and a car park. Further services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a car hire service, a transfer service, 24-hour room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a coin-operated laundry. A bicycle hire service provides all the necessary equipment for exploring the surrounding area. Complimentary newspapers are available. A business centre with fax machine and projector is available.

Rooms

Air conditioning ensures that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A turndown service provides guests with additional comfort in the evening hours. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

The outdoor pool complex includes a children's swimming area and pleasantly heated water to ensure comfortable swimming. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. Sun loungers and parasols on the terrace invite guests to relax and unwind. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the hotel, including tennis, a gym, callisthenics, aerobics, a spa and a sauna.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a restaurant with air conditioning, a café and a bar. For breakfast, lunch and dinner, guests serve themseves at the buffet or choose their preferred fare from the menu (for lunch and dinner).

    My first stay at Renaissance HK and it was a pleasant stay as with all Bonvoy brands. It was made exceptional by Christine who hosted myself. Great stuff

    Stayed 4 nights.First 2 nights, upgraded to a Victoria Harbour view twin room. Space a bit tight.Last 2 nights, upgraded to a spacious studio suite with great Victoria Harbour view.Club lounge has great view of Central, IFC, West Kowloon and Tsim Sha Tsui.Decent dinner during happy hours.Wines poor Vivino rating averaging 3. Champagne drinkable.Breakfast restaurant renovated.Decent spread though looked less than last stay two years ago.Gym excellent including barbell and Smith machine rack, multiple machines, decent dumbbells, heaps of cardio equipment.Location excellent with ferry terminal and exhibition centre MTR station connected with shelter.If not for aged hard products I would have given it 5.     Two Fabulous Stays At The Renaissance Hong Kong Thanks To A Few Sensational Team Members!

    I had two great stays at this hotel both before and after Chinese New Year. My total satisfaction with the hotel would not have been possible without the kind and thoughtful assistance of two Duty Managers, Kaylie and Marco, as well as the help of the new Loyalty Manager, Patty. These (3) Superstars really exemplify the high standard of service of this Hotel and deserve to be recognized. First, Kaylie. I am an Ambassador with Marriott and before each stay my dedicated Ambassador sends a letter to the hotel simply outlining my preferences and needs for the particular stay. To make a long story short, my Ambassador essentially didn’t successfully send off that email to the hotel in this particular case and my preferences and needs were not addressed at the time of my arrival. Kaylie quickly solved that problem and made sure everything went smoothly for me for my entire stay (and then the next stay as well). Thank you so much Kaylie for your kind assistance with everything during my stays. Second, Marco. Not only did Marco help me immensely with my stays at this hotel, but between stays I was heading to another premium hotel for just one night. Marco had worked at that other hotel in the past and coordinated with them to make my sure that my stay over there was very special. That was clearly going beyond the “call of duty” making sure my stay at a competing hotel would be memorable as well. But, it showed me the commitment to excellence this hotel and its staffers has towards it guests as well as Marco’s phenomenal customer service. Thank you Marco for everything you did for me during my two stays at your hotel as well as my 1 night stay at your competitor. Your efforts showed your true colors! Finally, that you Patty for working out the billing questions I had with the hotel. I look forward to working with you in the future. The hotel is perfectly located at the Harbour with amazing views. I had several wonderful meals at the Chinese restaurant there as well. The Lounge is very nice and the breakfast buffet is great as well. The value proposition at this hotel is compelling. I stayed at just two Marriott properties during my Hong Kong stays in 2026; namely, the Ritz Carlton and this Renaissance Hotel. Both hotels were great. I enjoyed every minute of my time at this Renaissance Hotel, especially after Kaylie got things under control for me following my Ambassador’s failed email attempt to this hotel. I left a couple items in the room at check out by accident and the hotel graciously agreed to hold them for me for a full 90 days. I expect to return to the hotel before that time period is over and possibly stay for yet another third visit! Thank you again Kaylee, Marco and Patty!     I had returned from mainland China for one night and was due to fly home the following evening when I received a brief message from the airline - Flight Canceled.I waited for several hours throughout the day, but no further word was received from the airline, so I had no choice but to try and extend my stay an additional night.I know this wouldn't be easy as the hotel was near full capacity.I had been fortunate when I returned from mainland China to receive a free upgrade from Garden View room to Harbour View, and while it would have been super convenient if I could remain in this same room for the extra night, I realised it wasn't likely.However, I went to reception and spoke with David who not only fixed it so I could remain in the same room but also arranged a good price for me as I am a Marriott Bonvoy member.Thankyou David, and thankyou Renaissance for helping solve an unexpected situation.
