Smart hotel yet perhaps a little sterile

We had just a one night stay at this hotel. Welcome was positive and informative. The hotel is incredibly clean with real quality fixtures & fittings. Our room was overall lovely. Smart & elegant throughout. Sadly again in Budapest this hotel alongside another hotel we stayed at (prior to our short trip to Vienna) has centrally controlled air con meaning the room was too warm & one cannot change the temperature. Opening a window onto the busy street below meant noise galore. A positive is sound proofed windows yet a warmer room due to the air con set up which is clearly done to save money. Disappointing. Breakfast: The continental choice looked & was great. Very much appreciated. Although no honey. The hot options sadly were very moderate. Could be improved on. Overall we felt the hotel perhaps lacked a bit of ‘personality’. The staff were okay yet somewhat quiet and the bar/common areas needed some some furnishings/warmer touches. It felt a bit clinical in places. Yet certainly still a good choice to stay.

Great hotel in the heart of Budapest. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the breakfast was superb, fresh and varied. Highly recommended!

GOOD LOCATION PERFECT FOR MY VISIT TO DENTIST AS IT WAS IN THE SAME BUILDING .WE FOUND THE MATTRESS HARD AND WALL HAIRDRYER NOT GREAT.

Good location and clean hotel

Easy to walk to from the Metro Station and Airport Bus Stop.Lovely location for all local sights,restaurants and transport.Simple check in process and quite efficient lift to the fourth floor where our room was located. Room was very comfortable and had the necessary amenities. A good room safe as well. My only complaint was the A/C was virtually useless and we had a constant odour in the room. As we were on the top floor we could leave the window open so it wasn’t a big issue for us. The bar was quite good, as were the Aperol Spritz’s.Not a great selection for breakfast and all seemed a bit hap hazard. That said most of the food was ok and sufficient for our needs.
