    The hotel room lacked sound insulation, the breakfast selection was disappointing and meager. There was no mirror in the bathroom.     The baross hotel is a lovely place to stay, with comfortable rooms and pleasant overall atmosphere. However the surrounding area felt a bit rough at times, with some loitering individuals nearby, which may make some guest feel uneasy.One downside offered was frequent noise at night particularly from emergency service sirens, which could disrupt sleep.The food offered was fairly standard European fare - nothing exceptional, but decent enough.A useful tip for travelers: be cautious if unofficial airport taxis. It's safer to use apps like Bolt or Uber to avoid potential scams.All public services are free to anyone over 65.     We weren't sure what to expect when booking Baross Hotel , hotel & room spotless , breakfast was fine for me as I'm not too picky wife struggled a bit but plenty bread & pastries. We did hear everything next as walls thin but was prepared & took ear plugs . Metro about 50 yards outside hotel entrance and only £1 a trip but can buy passes for whatever suits your needs & can't go wrong on the red m2 line which takes you down past the Danube in 5-10mi s . Overall great for price as we were out for most of day and only returning to sleep 👍
