    We spent 2 days and 1 night in Budapest at the Carleton Buda Castle. It was our first visit to Budapest so we had many questions. Viola and Lila at reception could not have been more knowledgeable and helpful. They helped us find places to eat, things to do, how to use public transportation while maintaining charming good humor. The room was very good . Breakfast was excellent. Many nice extras. The entire staff friendly and efficient. We will return when we return to Budapest.Deb and John O’Neal

    Great location, easy to get to all public transport. Beautiful area. The room was spacious, clean, great amenities, even in a large king bed. The only problem was the bathroom soap dispenser was hard to manage. Extremelystiff and tight great value and the breakfast buffet was outstanding.

    I recently spent 4 days in Budapest with my 20 year old grandson and stayed at the Carlton Buda Castle Hotel. Our experience could not have been better. The hotel staff, ie. Reception, breakfast staff, housekeeping and management were wonderful. They were friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome, like we were family. The breakfast buffet was awesome! The location of the hotel is only a 5 minute walk to the Chain Bridge, the Fisherman’s Bastion, St. Mathias church, the Danube and with a little more walking even more. The hotel rate was very fair and reasonable. I have been to Budapest 6 or 7 times and will not hesitate to stay there again on my next visit.Sincerely,Stephen Bator
