Location

This very nice, small and familial hotel is located in a quiet residential area in the Buda hills, on the edge of Sas-hegy nature reserve. Links to the public transport network lie just 150 m away. The railway station is about 700 m away. The centre of Budapest with its many restaurants, shops, nightclubs, bars and pubs is to be found within 1 km of the hotel. Budapest airport is located roughly 22 km away.

Facility

33 rooms, including 8 suites, 2 apartments, 2 single rooms and 13 double rooms, are available to guests in a 5-storey main building and an auxiliary building. At this hotel, which includes a lift, guests are warmly welcomed by the English- and German-speaking staff. The reception desk in the lobby is staffed round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops as well. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (no extra charge). Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the mountain view from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a refrigerator included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are provided in the bathrooms, which include a shower and a bathtub. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

    Extremely Disappointing Experience – No Accountability TakenI am writing this to share my full experience so others can make an informed decision before booking.I originally booked a holiday to Malta. Due to severe weather and significant damage at the destination, I contacted Travelodeal to request a change. I paid additional fees to amend my booking and was moved to Portugal instead.Unfortunately, upon arrival in Portugal we were met with extreme coastal weather warnings, severe wind conditions, and most local amenities and shops were closed. While I understand that weather itself is outside of a company’s control, the reason I find this unacceptable is that I had specifically asked to change destinations to avoid disruption — and was charged to be moved to a location experiencing very similar severe conditions.The accommodation itself was also not as expected. My booking voucher clearly stated “Studio – 1 Double or 2 Single.” However, upon arrival, the sleeping arrangement consisted of daybeds/sofa-style beds in the main living area rather than what most travellers would reasonably expect as standard double or twin beds. There was no separate bedroom as seen in other rooms at the property.Feeling that the overall situation (weather conditions combined with accommodation standards) made the stay unsuitable, we chose to return home early at our own expense. This cost me an additional £140 to amend outbound flights and £110 for return arrangements, along with a car rental that went unused.After returning home, I submitted a detailed complaint. Travelodeal’s response was a complete rejection of responsibility. Their position is that: • Our early departure was voluntary • Weather conditions fall under force majeure • No complaint was raised in resort • Therefore, no refund or compensation is dueWhile I accept that weather cannot be controlled, I am disappointed that no acknowledgement was given regarding the sleeping arrangements or the fact that I paid extra to change destinations specifically to avoid disruption.The response felt heavily contractual and defensive, with no attempt at goodwill or shared responsibility. As a customer, that is what has left the strongest negative impression.I encourage future travellers to: • Carefully review room descriptions in detail • Understand that early departure may void refund rights • Consider comprehensive travel insuranceI hope this review helps others make a fully informed decision.

    Horrible. Horrible staff. Horrible breakfast only eggs. Negative three stars cannot even be given to this inn. It is better to put up a tent in the cold and sleep. In general1 it is not recommended to travel to this country at all because of their ugly and meaningless attitude. the country of beggars and beggars.

    If you like to stay in a dirty room, then this is your ideal hotel. We were booked through Super Escapes & we were told this is a 4* Classic Hotel Resort. After we checked in, I was so shocked, the room was so dirty, ants, food on floor next to my bed, cob webs, the dirtiest curtains which is about to fall apart. Windows are so old which will come off from latches soon. Floor has never been vacuumed or moped, there are so many marks on carpet. Our towels never got changed for 3 days, I had to go to reception and waited 30 mins to get clean towels. They just pick up dirty towels from the floor & put them on the bath tub and sink, never refilled toilet rolls so we had to go to reception the very next day. Never had our bed made so I don't know why they came in our room. Lucky we locked our bags. My advice, Don't Book This Hotel Unless You Like To Live In Slum.

    Wowcher £99 Mystery Holiday- Hotel

    We never got to pick our hotel, this hotel was the one given to us by Wowcher for a package holiday deal. If we had known, we would never have stayed and it would have stopped us doing the Wowcher deal. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Not even worth 3 stars. The hotel room decor was dated and the walls were dirty. Only one light worked in our room and none of the bed side lamps worked. The hairdryer blew up leaving us with wet damp hair to enter the freezing temperatures outside. The room was very hot and there was no air conditioning. You can open the window but you risk catching a cold. None of the plugs worked, and we had to charge our phone via the TV back outlet (this only allows your phone to charge to 50% and no more). The towels were small hair towels for two grown adults. The shower head would not stay on the wall and the water pressure means you have to turn off the shower while you are unable to hold it. The walls are VERY thin.. the room next door had an orgy on our first night for 4hours between 3am-7am.. meaning we got no sleep on our first night and we now have horrible mental images that will stay with us forever. The bathroom floor was dirty and we had ants. The staff are rude and not interested at all. The lift is dodgy and may get stuck.We dreaded going back to our hotel and we were only staying two nights. We even considered leaving and paying for somewhere new but decided to suck it up for the one more night. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. They should not be allowed to take customers.

    First: The staff were very nice and helpful, BUT even if it's a budget hotel I expect it to be CLEAN.The bed bottom was broken so I woke up with a bad headache.You needed to use your key to get electricity BUT the fridge was connected to that too, which means it wasn't on during the day so our food got ruined.
