    Horrible

Avoid this hotel at all costs. They advertise free on-site parking, but when we arrived we were told there were no spaces available and were advised to park in the Lidl parking lot instead. The reception staff seemed inexperienced and unhelpful, and communication was difficult. Our room faced the street and the noise was unbearable—constant traffic, ambulances, and trams passing by felt like they were shaking the entire room. When we checked out, my wife accidentally left her fanny pack on a chair at reception. We only realized this after driving for about three hours, so turning back was not an option. We contacted the hotel and asked them to send it to us by courier. They told us they would send a payment link so we could cover the delivery cost, but two days passed and we received nothing. We called again to ask when they would send the bag, which contained personal documents. They explained that the person who found it had to handle the shipment to avoid it passing through multiple hands, which seemed reasonable. However, the next day they messaged us asking for our card details so they could charge us €30–€50 for the courier. This was extremely unprofessional—who asks guests to send their card details like that?We called again and insisted they either send a secure payment link or allow us to arrange the courier ourselves. Once again, they said they would send the link, but nothing happened. After seven days, we were fortunate to have a friend in Budapest who could go to the hotel and pick up the bag for us. Otherwise, it would probably still be sitting there. This hotel misleads customers and handles situations very poorly. Our experience was frustrating from start to finish. I would strongly recommend avoiding it.

    Nice, quiet and clean

The directions to the hotel were exact.Easy to find and not very far from the city center. A tram station is aprox. 60 meters away and you have just 6 stations to get at the Danube. The staff was very friendly and spoke very good english.Rooms were very clean and bathroom equipped with everything we needed.Small, functional fridge and even a water heater and some tea-bags.One of the few hotels where the shower did not leak.Very impressed. Thank you.

Clean and functional. A bit distant from the centre

This is a modern hotel a bit like a travel lodge on the outskirts of the city. There isn't much in the area around the hotel but as a base to get into the city by public transport it was fine. The room was clean without any frills. The breakfast was a good and reasonably priced buffet. The staff spoke good English and were helpful.

    Business trip in Budapest

The location of the hotel is ideal for business porpose, close to the highways and the industrial area. The rooms are big and well equipped. On the top floors they are a bit smaller and lower quality. The parking is on a reasonable price in their garage but also available free outside parking. The breakfast is a standard offer without any specialities.

Friendly, helpful staff, a little way out of town for tourists

    rating06 Dec 2019

This hotel was a surprise as it was booked for business. It is some way out of the city, but in the tram route, so if you are visiting as a tourist you may want to be further in towards tourist areas as there is very little else around. There is a large supermarket about 250m from the hotel but no restaurants or cafes.Breakfast was plentiful, yet simple (continental style: boiled egg, scrambled egg, sausage as hot food; yoghurt, muesli, cold meats and cheeses). Good coffee was readily available made from fresh beans. We ate in the hotel two nights and had good quality food at a reasonable cost. One of the group being vegetarian there was pasta available. We drank a local wine and were really pleased with the quality and cost. The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful: booking taxis and confirming where we wanted to go. If we wanted something they dealt with it promptly. At the end of our trip we needed to spend some time in the bar area before going to the airport, staff facilitated this and we were amicably waved off. A nice touch. The hotel has conference room facilities and is located in a residential district opposite a stadium so there were a number of large groups (including tours) and meetings which were managed alongside single visitors.
