Location

The guesthouse is quietly situated amidst villas in the 14th district, close to the city centre. Also close to the guesthouse (around 300 to 400 m away) are countless restaurants, bars, pubs, the Nép stadium and the city park. Links to the public transport network can be reached on foot (around 0.5 km away). A ski lift is to be found within 1.5 km of the guesthouse, and Budapest airport is 15 km away.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1800. 35 rooms, including apartments, 2 single rooms and 32 double rooms, are available to guests in a 2-storey main building and an auxiliary building. This hotel has a lift and a reception desk. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air.     Get what you pay for

    Not a bad stay, you get what you pay for.  Approximately 10 Euros per night.  Bed and pillows not particularly comfortable but did the job. Separate shared toilet & bathroom. Good water temperature. Wifi stable and fast (I did a 3 hour online meeting with no issue).   Room warm.  Basic wardrobe and table but no chair.  Fast check in.  Its 8 minutes walk from Budapest Keleti.  Bus stop nearby. Tram & metro not too far away. Very good budget option

    The room I had at the hotel was good value for money and clean. It was also very quiet at night time and, after a day out walking and seeing the sights of the old city, it was the perfect place to come back to and relax. There are buses just around the corner that link to the city centre, and the nearest Metro is not far. The shuttle service the hotel uses is very reliable. The hotel staff will either book up a transfer with them beforehand or customers can do it themselves from an easily located desk at the airport. I found the wi-fi in the room was quite fast and always usable.

    Most awful place in the world…Its better to sleep under some bridge, they are working 20h per day, its stinks they don't clean their awful toilets (shared for peasants).We took room with private bathroom but still stinks from the others toilets…….. AWFUL !!!!

    Absolutely the worst hotel ever..sure it has missed an s out..its a hostel at best..or should the t be a v..its a hovel.. beds are not even beds..no TV.. no bar..shared toilets and showers fit for a 3rd world prison..place is filthy..mould everywhere..walls collapsing..definitely the worst place have ever stayed.. 1 good point..heating was excellent.. my advice..AVOID AVOID AVOID..not worth the 1 star I am forced to put..needs shutting down..

    I can’t tell you how nice the staff at Dominik Panzio were, especially the lovely woman behind the counter most days who reminds me a bit of mrs brown from mrs browns boys. She was so lovely and helpful. She couldn’t of been more lovely or helpful. The hotel itself is very good value and in a great location for the famous baths. Also you can easily get the number 7 bus in and out of the city there for 450Hfr a journey ( that ain’t much money) Thank you for a great stay 😁
