This hotel is located between the squares Hösök Tere and Oktogon, in the small peaceful Andrassy street. The city centre is only around 1 km away. Kodály körönd metro station is only a 2-minute walk from the hotel building. Ferihegy airport is only around 22 km from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has 4 single rooms and 16 double rooms, which are located on 3 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park.     This hotel is truly dire. It is a cheap hotel and I would say you get what you pay for but there are so many nicer hotels for similar prices in Budapest. I’m usually okay with cheaper hotels when travelling as we’re out during the day anyway, but this has definitely put me off from going for the cheapest option when travelling. The room was incredibly dirty, with wallpaper peeling off the walls and a hole in the wall with open electric cables coming out. The bathroom had a very strong sewage odour which made the room unbearable. There is no noise insulation, so loud noises/talking could be heard late into the night. There was a very large vent in the room in which you could see into the staff area which had been hidden by a fan. On entry the curtains were hanging off, leaving an exposed window which looked out into the rest of the hotel. We did not feel safe leaving our valuables in the room when out. It’s hard to find something positive to say about this hotel. The location is pretty good, but Budapest is a very walkable city and a better hotel would be far worth the trade off for a nicer place to stay. If you are looking to stay at this hotel, I would suggest looking into other hotels similarly priced before choosing this one.

    We have just stayed at this hotel and reading the comments before we arrived we were very nervous. I can now say yes this is a basic hotel but it was clean the staff are friendly and the location is brilliant, some of the reviews on here are not to be believed awesome location clean room will stay again.

    This place is cheap for a reason, so as long as you book with this in mind, you might not be disappointed? If you don't, you will probably wonder what the hell you have booked! We're talking very grubby rooms, mouldy bathrooms, dirty beds, and linen. We were kept waiting at check-in whilst the guy finished the cigarette he had just lit when we arrived! Within 30 seconds of seeing our room, we had made the decision that there was no way we were staying! So at 9pm at night we got a cab to another hotel!

    The pictures speak for themselves.Dirty old hotel. Tv and securitybox is not working - they expect you to leave your belongins in the reception for safekeeping - would never(!) do that.Beds are horrible, bathroom disgusting(!), cleaning staff made us uncomfortable - looked angry.Reception lady was okay. Breakfast is terribly expensive, taken in consideration what you can get.Checked out after the first night and would never return.The good reviews on agoda doesn't live up to what you arrive to.

    1 once I saw the conditions of the hotel I cancelled. The hotel is dirty and smells bad. The doors to the rooms do not feel safe. There an appliance in the room, I think it was an air conditioner but I was not sure. You have to turn your room key in every time you leave and then ask for it when you return.
