Location

This modern spa hotel is situated in a park on the wonderful Margaret Island. Although the hotel is just a few minutes from the city centre, it is shielded from the worst of the city's hustle and bustle. Public transport departs from stops that are located just a stone's throw away.

Facility

267 rooms, including 8 suites and 247 double rooms, are located on 9 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a newspaper stand. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Rooms

    Fantastic Hotel in a beautiful location

    What a fantastic hotel within a fantastic setting. Can't say enough good things about this hotel. Hotel room was excellent, spacious and clean, had a great night sleep. The spa area, well what can I say but I absolutely loved it. Not too crowded, different pools with different temperatures, main pool to swim, lovely area for sitting out and having a drink. Very clean and the lockers were very easy to use. Very nice touch in the rooms, free use of dressing gowns and slippers for use in the spa area. Food was lovely in the restaurant areas and lots to choose from. Staff at the hotel can't do enough for you. Had a walk around Margaret island before pick up and it was pleasant and quiet. I have mobility issues so it was nice to see undamaged benches you could actually sit on t and lots of them. Yes the hotel is slightly out of the way but a regular bus service is available that takes you to the metro to see the rest of Budapest. I had a fantastic stay and will definitely be going back again.     This is not a terrible hotel but, sadly, it's not as good as it could be. Whilst the room we had (deluxe double) was reasonably comfortable with a nice bathroom there was an ongoing issue with long waits for the elevator as they only have 2 for a large 9 storey hotel and one of them kept breaking down. The breakfast buffet was nice but spoiled by poor layout, a scrum of rude guests and terrible coffee machines. The spa was also quite poor and run-down. Again spoiled by the rude guests and a lack of staff. This hotel mainly attracts Eastern European guests and their behaviour is not as polite or considerate as we Brits are used to. This is not an insult but reflects cultural differences learned by spending a lot of time in Slovakia. The location on Margaret Island is pleasant but a bit remote so we spent a lot of time waiting for the only bus service on/off the island. I can't recommend this hotel unfortunately.     The Hotel is interestingly built on an (Margaret) Island along the meandering Danube River! Just a quick detour along the bridge and we reached here, and we stayed here for 2 Nights in our 8N Eastern Europe Tour.We stayed at #086 which is ground floor, so walking a distance out we reach the front entrance, and the dining hall! The room view faced the car park and frankly I find the security a little challenging as there’s only an iron grill separating from the outside..The Hotel premise is big and the amenities complete. The surrounding is greenery and we saw locals going for their morning/evening jog 😊. I was nursing some skin rashes probably due to weather acclimatization so I did not try out their thermal pool nor spa, a pity.Their bf was an attraction; wonderful spread in a large dining Hall. Especially mentioned their beacon which just hit-the-spot, wonderful. One can even ask for extra requests such as omelet or other eggs set prepared separately, great!.But there was a bad incident which we encountered; the room TV was not working. After making several unsuccessful calls to h/k and Reception finally somebody answered in a non-customer service manner. Eventually the bell captain came and after some troubleshooting mentioned most likely the TV-box was faulty. So much about room-entertainment.[ We hope it has since been rectified before many more tenants adversely affected ]Otherwise we would have really rated the Hotel higher, but apparently some adhoc happenings really separate the better of some hotels compared to the others.     Another perfect trip to Budapest and the Ensana on Margaret island, thank you very much. We had two almost adjacent rooms on the 8th floor (Suite and Junior Suite), both overlooking the Parliament side of the Danube. Rooms were clean as usual, facilities still feel like new after the renovation a few years ago, and there is simply nothing left to be wanted. Breakfast is great and offers a lot of top quality variety. Their spa is fabulous, with several pools to choose from, along with their sauna areas. The bistro like place in the main hall offers excellent dishes, too - so if you do not want to dine off the island, this is a very good option. As always we are looking forward to our next stay.     Hotel has a big gym with well equipped techno gym gear. Big by many hotel standards. Good for those who need a good workout with a wide variety of push pull exercises. Thermal and out door pools a plenty. Great place to unwind and chill. Hotel rooms with face the driveway or pool. Opt for the latter. Breakfast spread simply amazing. It has everything. Rooms with well deced out amenities.
