  Unfortunately we have nothing good to say about staying here as we didnt hang around long enough to try the breakfast. We checked in and went to our room and instantly didn't want to be there. Granted we didn't expect the rooms to be huge but surely there's a limit you'd accept. The foot space was a joke and the toilets are actually wet 'rooms'. Now we've been there we can see all the positive reviews were from people in superior rooms. in the end we spent 10 minutes there and 8 of them were spent finding another hotel, which we did. We did return the next day to pay our tourist tax. Absolutely gutted as it ruined the start of our holiday but turned out ok as the other hotel was amazing.   Amazing experience, great value for money

  Me and my husband stayed here for three nights last week and absolutely loved it. The hotel is in a great location and it's so lovely to sit on the deck and look at the amazing views. Our room was small but very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious with so much choice. On the last day we used the take away cups available and took a coffee up to the top deck, it was the perfect end to a fabulous short break. The price is so good, fantastic value for money. We will definitely come back to stay again, hopefully soon. Budapest is beautiful. Thankyou for a lovely stay.   Good base to explore.

  Great base to explore the city, Margaret island and the Buda hills areas.Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.We had a superior cabin (front of ship) which was very spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable. No safe in our room but this wasn't an issue for us.   Fabulous stay!

  We have literally just checked out from a 4 night stay at Fortuna Boat Hotel. We stayed in room 234 which is one of the superior rooms with a large balcony overlooking the Danube, spectacular! The room itself is large and clean, room is a bit dated but for what you pay, you can't complain. Breakfast is ample but simple. It is about a 20/30 mins walk or more to the main attractions. Or a 10 mins walk to the transport links. We would absolutely come back and stay here again! The only let down was the rather rude male receptionist on today ( 28/02/26) upon check out this morning, instead of tending to us, he continued playing/texting on his phone until he was finished what he was doing to serve us. We have just been back to collect our luggage. He followed my husband down to the luggage room where he then accused my husband of "stinking of weed" Now, we are not smokers/vapers of any kind!! The smell was indeed coming from one of the hotel rooms! He really shouldn't be making any kind of assumptions, and we just found his whole attitude, well stinking!!
