    Excellent central position and quirky interior. Staff could not be more helpful or friendly. Service attentive and hotel very clean. Breakfast plentiful and quality ingredients. Basement jacuzzi, steam room and roof top bar. Would definitely recommend as we had a fantastic stay.

    We stayed here for 4 nights and would stay at Hotel Memories again!The rooms have everything you need and the beds are very comfortable and the shower is very warm with excellent pressure. Breakfast always had a good variety of cereal, freshly baked pastries, fruit, deli meats and dips and hot food. We particularly enjoyed the free snack bar with complimentary drinks - particularly welcome after walking in the cold in Budapest! The gym is small but has everything you need and the hot tub is lovely and warm.

    Comfortable place within 5 mins walk of the airport bus, surrounded by great bars and restaurants and within easy walking distance of the city sights. The included breakfast is a tasty mixture of Bulgarian and international foods and great for stoking before a long day sightseeing! The staff are friendly and helpful, speaking good English. The speedy WiFi was a great bonus and we streamed a couple of movies in our down time. Rooms are not large, but comfortable, smart and well appointed. Our double bed consisted of two linked singles. Hotel staff were happy to provide additional pillows. Ventilation system worked well.

    The worst hotel of my life.

    Apart from the problems we encountered in the room as it was very small, in fact there was no space to move or store the jackets (we hung them in the bathroom), the thing that shocked us was that the waiters in the rooms reused the dirty towels that we had put on the floor for changing and folded them as if they were clean and put them back on the radiators. We also notified the reception of what had happened but the next day when we returned to the room we realized that they had done the same thing. Shameful and unhygienic.

    Small but mighty

    This is a small boutique hotel perfectly located next to the Dohany Synagogue, within walking distance to major downtown attractions and mass transit. The staff are multilingual, from all over the world. Special thanks go to Ruwina and Francesca at Reception, and to Nora, hotel concierge, who were able to answer and resolve any issues we had. All were extremely friendly and helpful which, unfortunately, is not always my experience in Budapest. The rooms are on the small side and could have done with a bit more furniture to sit in, instead of having to always be on the bed, but were all clean and functional. We stayed for two weeks, so the size of the room eventually became uncomfortable, but most tourists visit for only a few days and are out for most of the day, so the size is adequate.The included breakfast is available in two locations. Food is plentiful, attractively presented and very tasty. There were international offerings as well as Hungarian specialties and selections for the many Israelis we met at the hotel.All in all, we enjoyed the experience, would recommend the hotel and would return for a shorter stay.
