    Guests with children or pets, better go literally anywhere else. Medication lying around on room floor.

    Our dog found a pill on the floor and ingested it. We were able to extract it from her. This pill did not belong to us. If it had been ingested, she could have been seriously harmed. So therefore, dog owners and families with small children: CHECK the floors, apparently cleaning is insufficient at best and endangers your beloved. Toilet was not working (did not stop flushing, cover was not attached). Despite us mentioning this after check-in, no action was taken. After again coming to the reception, someone attached the cover and left, leaving the toilet still non-functional. After all this, it was worth a two drinks coupon, and, after arguing with booking.com, a 10.76€ voucher. Needless to say we'll be seeking further action.

    We have had a lovely stay. The room, although basic is very clean. There is a good variety of breakfast choices. The staff around the hotel are very friendly. It is situated in a great position to enjoy the beautiful city on both sides of the river Danibe. We would be very happy to stay here again.     How clean is your room?

    Im with my husband on a business trip, we stay for 6 days, front desk was ok, but room service to clean the room was bit off. Fisrt day I didnt ask to clean the room as i am tired and need to sleep more, next day i was expecting that they will clean our room around 8am-10? I went out for a walk in budapest and went home by 2pm. The room was not clean all my rubbish was still under the table( rubbish from take away on our first night as we came late). Then they knocked around 2pm for cleaning service, i went down in the lobby for 20-30mins to give them a space, then when i went in my room rubbish still under my table, didn't refill my facial tissue in the toilet (facial tissue was 4-5 pieces only when we arrive), toilet roll only 1 left, floor wasn't vaccuum. They just fix the beddings, change the hand towel (it was on the floor. (Due to shower splashes). Now 1535pm still waiting for them if they will clean our room. Husband called he said he rang the reception to tell them that they didnt come to clean out room. Im worried if did they really clean the room after you checked out?     Hotel is located on Buda Side, and is within walking distance to Buda Castle & Fisherman’s Bastion etc! There is a metro system approx 2 mins walk from the hotel which we used daily to get to Pest side for Heroes Square etc.The metro and trams are very easy to use & super cheap. However, they’re not very accessible. We managed with the pram on the escalators but took our daughter out and held her on these as they’re very steep and long (she was 19m). We used the metro loads, and only noticed 1 or 2 stops that has lifts, making most stops almost impossible for those limited to a wheelchair.The hotel itself is pretty basic, though the staff were great and provided a large cot for our daughter free of charge, a kettle for her formula free of charge when we asked (these are not automatically provided) and extra pillows/towels. The restaurant in the hotel is lovely & really well priced for a hotel restaurant!Breakfast is a standard continental, there is a large amount of pastries and breads, though not much choice on meats etc. There was slices of ham & cheese, some boiled eggs, scrambled eggs and hotdog like sausages. plain Yoghurt and very limited fruit choices are also available. Our room was rather large to fit the cot in, though the bathroom was very small. Plenty of space for our suitcase and buggy, and a small wardrobe-like area with a few hangers in.A great base for exploring Budapest!     Absolutely miserable staff….. Andrea was awful 😢. Such a shame as hotel was lovely and clean.
