The hotel was built recently, in 2021. The multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out.     Intercity Hotel in Budapest - Very Conveniently Located

    The Intercity Hotel in Budapest is very conveniently located - both in terms of the Metro (line 2 with connecting lines) and the Keleti railroad station. There are also many restaurants/cafes in the area. The hotel staff is friendly; rooms are comfortable and there is a restaurant. The proximity to many of the places visitors travel to in the city is definite reason to stay here.

    The best hotel we’ve had with Cosmos. Finally a hotel that’s not on a train track. This hotel is centrally located, has a double bed, a kettle with 2 cups and a teabag, shower, but no bathroom amenities other than pump soap on the wall and a hair dryer. We joined the buffet dinner, but they ran out of food so I had lima beans which were actually very tasty, my husband had little potatoes and piece of chicken. There is laundry service available so we sent a bag of laundry out and hopefully we get it back tomorrow afternoon before leave.     We did not stay at this hotel so my review is purely based in the reception and bar staff. The hotel where we stayed was not a nice hotel plus it was no bar so we found Intercity Hotel nearby. The bar girl Reakee (probably not correct spelling) welcome my family with such warmth. She chatted with us and asked were we guests, we explained that we weren't and listened to our story as to why we were choosing this hotel for relaxing and having tea/coffee and food at her hotel. The poor girl was visibly upset at our experience and took it upon herself to apologise on behalf of the nice Hungarian people out there. Raekee looked after us each time we called in. I would just like to say thank you so much, you have really given us happy memories of Budapest and her people.     We had a truly wonderful stay! The room was spotless every single day, and the housekeeping staff did an amazing job keeping everything tidy and fresh. Breakfast was outstanding, such a wide variety of options, with fresh vegetables and fruit, and everything was replenished quickly. The staff were always helpful, friendly, and attentive.The location couldn’t be better; close to the metro, tram, bus stops, shopping centers, the city center, and even several fast-food places. We had everything we needed right around the corner.We also celebrated our anniversary during our stay, and it made the whole experience even more special; everything was just perfect from start to finish.I’d seen a few comments mentioning that the neighborhood felt a bit sketchy, but honestly, we felt completely safe the entire time.
