The hotel is located in the heart of the city, right next to the Nagykörút (Grand Boulevard), which is one of the most important arteries through the city. The main sights and famous buildings are just a short walk away. The Parliament, Margaret Island, St. Stephen's Basilica, numerous museums, theatres, as well as superb shops, cosy restaurants and cafés in the city centre are only a stone's throw away. The bus station and access to the metro are around 150 m and 100 m away. Budapest Ferihegy International Airport is situated at a distance of approximately 30 km.

Facility

The hotel has 3 junior suites and 90 double rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and German-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony or terrace is a standard feature of some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking and tennis are available. With windsurfing, canoeing, sailing, catamaraning, kayaking and diving available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. The fitness rooms are perfect for a comprehensive workout. A wellness area with a spa is available to guests. For a fee, massage treatments are also offered.

Dining facilities include a restaurant, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. Bed and breakfast can be booked. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day.

    The hotel was in a perfect spot.there was metro at the end of the road, train station over the road from that and a shopping right next door.the hotel was very clean, all staff were friendly and polite..alot of slection for breakfast although this did seem to change on a wkend when it was busy.but overall great hotel in a great location.would recommend Marmara Hotel Management, Sales at Marmara Hotel Budapest, responded to this review Dear our valued Guest,We truly appreciate your positive review about Marmara Hotel Budapest.     Went to this hotel on a stag do. Everything is basic and few bits of things need looking at to make it 3 star plus.     Good location, large room with a small balcony, great walk in shower. Although the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the hotel the breakfast selection wasn’t the best and the area wasn’t very clean, rooms were shabby in some areas.
