    Unpleasant stay

    rating10 Jun 2026

1 Friendly female receptionist.Bed sheet with holes.Beds not made daily as one would expect!Basic & not a 4* in any shape.Noisy from Road traffic & uncomfortable room temperature disrupted sleep throughout the stay.No milk for tea or coffee in room.Reasobably good transport links.Did not feel this hotel represent value for money. Would not recommend or return.

    amazing and clean hotel

    rating20 Apr 2026

This was a lovely clean hotel, its about a 30 min walk to the town but about 45 on the way back once you get up the hill, Breakfast was cold buffet, pastries, and eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, so something for everyone, We was on the 2nd floor tucked away at the back of the hotel and it was very quiet, beds were comfortable and bathroom had a hair drier, there was a mini bar but we never used the contents in it, only stored our own bottles of drink and water in there. Only one downside is there is only 3 plug sockets, one where the kettle was one bedside the bed and one in the bathroom. Silvia and Sandos were lovely people, they all were but i never caught the names of the others really. all very helpful if you needed to know anything. bus stop was a 2 minute walk round the corner, and a tram across the road, although we never used any of them, they are handy if you know where they go and what number to get, we found it easier to use the Bolt app for a uber, which we used twice otherwise we walked everywhere. plenty to see and loads of little fantastic souvenir shops which of cause all sell the same thing, but if i was to come back, would definately stay here, brilliant price we got it for. Thank you everyone.

    Not 4* but still friendly

    rating12 Apr 2026

Not a 4* hotel, more like 2*. It’s a small friendly hotel, and rooms are basic but clean. The room we had (54) had air con advertised but this didn’t work. Location is away from Budapest centre but buses and trams are right outside and public transport around Budapest is fantastic. Breakfast was included but very basic, not a lot of choice for hot breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lift only hoes up to 4th floor, we were on 5th so had to walk and carry suitcase last flight of stairs. Hotel itself is a bit run down and could do with modernising.

    3 days in Budapest

    rating03 Mar 2026

This hotel is in the Buda district, there are good transport links but if you’re happy to walk then you’ll see more.Friendly staff, location is good as there’s a large shopping centre 5 mins walk uphill. Petrol station shop and bar nearby. The tram and bus stops are convenient too.We found a good restaurant on the edge of the park on the way to Buda castle, it was part of a gym and spa complex and served nice wine and proper pizza, not too expensive either! The hotel itself is a little tired but it’s clean and functional if you are outside all day.The bar is small so limited choices but they had wine and whisky so what more do you need?!We took an Uber to and from the hotel for arriving and departing as it was not expensive and although travel links are good, you have to change a bit so it made the journey seamless.Highlights for us the outdoor/indoor Spa day, Buda Castle, Walking tour for our history lesson, the indoor market and a historical river cruise. Plenty to come back for.

Greta location for walking to the river and all the attractions, lovely staff and well exquipt hotel

    rating07 Feb 2026

We’re a great two night stay here, the staff were lovely especially Silvia on reception who gave us the most detailed map guide with where to visit and which busses and trams to get there. The city is amazing and we will definitely be back, as although went to all the attractions there’s so much more to do in summer months
