Location

This modern luxury hotel is situated in the Pest part of the city, opposite the National Museum. It takes just a few minutes on foot to reach the banks of the Danube and the vibrant pedestrian area. The hotel is superbly connected to the public transport system. Kálvin Tér on line 3 is the nearest underground station and is in the immediate vicinity.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 421 rooms, including 20 suites, 31 single rooms and 294 double rooms, located in two 9-storey buildings with lifts. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. All rooms are carpeted and include a king-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included.     We were actually staying in an apartment around the corner but we’re totally unable to get a taxi to take us to our river cruise. (It was a Sunday morning after the European Champions League football playoff.) I am an Accor member so out of desperation I went into the Mercure and asked the kind man at the front desk if he would call us a cab. He immediately agreed even though he knew we weren’t staying there. I messed up by not letting him know how much luggage we had so he then called a larger cab! His professionalism has made me a serious Mercure fan! And my apologies for not writing down his name. Thank you Mercure!
