The hotel was built in 1911. The hotel welcomes guests in a 6-storey building with a lift and 227 non-smoking rooms. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided in public areas.     We had an excellent experience at the hotel bar thanks to Dora. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. Dora went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensured we had everything we needed. Her positive attitude and outstanding service truly enhanced our stay.     The hotel is in city centre with some restaurants nearby.As an Accor Gold member, there was a plate of whole fruits in our room. Since they were only able to upgrade us for a double room, but we preferred a twin room, so we didn’t upgrade our room. The room is spacious, we opened our two suitcases and still space. Room has modern decor and clean.I like the restaurant for breakfast buffet. The food options and taste is average, but the atmosphere is very nice, it has two levels and has a historic grand vibe.

    Modern, clean, and conveniently located. We stayed one night at the Mövenpick Hotel Budapest Centre before our river cruise. Our room faced the main street but the two – double paned windows kept the room quiet and peaceful. The room had bathrobes, slippers, a safe, hot water kettle, hair dryer, clothes steamer and small ironing board. The staff were professional and friendly. Restaurants, cafes, ruin bars, public transportation, and shops within walking distance. We went to nearby Time Out Market Budapest, Lidl market, & Szimpla Kert during our stay.

    Lovely clean hotel. We were on the first floor overlooking the main street but didn't hear any noise. (I think they had double glazing on the windows). Breakfast buffet was very nice, as was the staff we encountered. There is a Lidl supermarket across the road, and the metro is virtually next door, so very convenient for getting around. Definitely recommend this hotel.

    On a positive note, the location is very good. About 20 mins walk to the river, and many great food venues in the vicinity. NY Cafe is a stone-throw away. The rooms are noisy (on a main avenue), small, and WiFi connection is very poor. The restaurant is closed (outside of breakfast) and there is a small bar serving food. Overall, expected more from Movenpick.
