  Beautiful Comfortable Stay in Budapest

  Our stay in Budapest was absolutely wonderful, and this hotel exceeded expectations in every way. The comfort level was exceptional — from the plush bedding to the quiet, relaxing atmosphere, it truly felt like a retreat after long days exploring the city.The ambience of the hotel was quaint and welcoming, with beautiful décor and a warm, inviting feel throughout the property. The staff was consistently gracious, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout our stay. Their kindness and professionalism added so much to the overall experience and made us feel truly cared for from arrival to departure.Another highlight was the breakfast, which was the perfect way to start each day. The selection was fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared, offering something for everyone before heading out to explore the city. Really enjoyed the omelet and the croque madame. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its outstanding location. Situated within an easy walk to Buda Hill sites or an easy transit by bus to many of Budapest’s main attractions and scenic streets. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines comfort, ambience, exceptional hospitality, and an unbeatable location for exploring Budapest on foot, this is an excellent choice.   Lovely, atmospheric hotel in a great position

  This atmospheric boutique hotel is in a great position in the Castle district of Buda. We had a great room at the top of the hotel - large, bright and clean - with a comfortable king-size bed and a great shower. We had dinner in the hotel's bistro on our first night and it was atmospheric, with decent food and friendly service. The included continental breakfast was also good, albeit fairly simple - but there were other options available, if desired. Our room was quiet and included a decent fridge, kettle and Nespresso machine. The only downsides were the lack of a lift (we had to go up and down 3 flights of stairs, although we were given some help with our luggage) and the fact that the window blinds let in a lot of light (it felt like full daylight in the room at 6 am) - we had to buy sleep eye masks. But these were minor points in an excellent stay at a lovely hotel in a terrific position. Be aware, though, that the Castle district is at the top of a hill and, if you like walking to restaurants etc, you will be descending and climbing a lot of hills and stairs to get around! We were fine with that but others may prefer taking taxis. The price seemed fairly reasonable for the quality of the hotel and the size of the room, certainly compared to the main hotel brands.   This was my second time at the Pest-Buda Design Boutique Hotel and I can highly recommend it. Nothing is lacking. You can hear some traffic noise in the room facing the street, but it didn't bother me at all and I cateched good sleep. The room can be completely darkened. The location is great, especially for a morning stroll in the castle district before the tourist crowds flock to the mountain. The The design is lovely and the restaurant is really nice. The staff is very polite.
