    The hotel was in a decent location; not far from sites and public transportation. However, it was not a great place to relax or sleep after a day of sightseeing. The bed was very hard and lumpy. It was a queen, as advertised, but had one cover on it that was most likely a twin size. It barely reached from edge to edge without anyone in it. The pillows were also hard ang uncomfortable. The light was very poor. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to see in the closet with all the room lights on. There were 6 hangers and no drawers so we mostly had to live out of our suitcases. That includes toiletries as there was absolutely no counter space in the bathroom. A couple of positives: the breakfast offered quite a few choices and was sufficient for a good start to our day. The front desk was helpful. All in all, I would not recommend this hotel nor would I stay here again.

    Lovely staff and amazing hotel!The staff were excellent, swift process, check out easy and the room was in perfect condition. They even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine for my girlfriends birthday!

    WARNING: Theft and Dishonesty at Ramada by Wyndham Budapest City CenterI feel obligated to warn fellow travelers about a very disturbing experience I had at the Ramada by Wyndham Budapest City Center. If you value your belongings and expect professional service, I strongly suggest you book elsewhere.The Incident: Upon checking out, I accidentally left a brand-new jacket in my room. I realized the mistake the very next day and contacted the hotel immediately. I wasn't even worried at first, as I assumed a reputable hotel would simply place it in their "Lost and Found." I was wrong.The Cover-up and Hostility: I had to follow up multiple times before getting an answer. Eventually, they claimed that the "cleaning lady" found nothing. When I corrected them and pointed out that the staff member who attended to my room was actually a man (and not a woman as they claimed), the staff became surprisingly hostile and angry.Despite providing a precise description of the jacket, the bag, and the exact location where it was left, the management chose to "stonewall" me. They claimed to have checked the cameras but refused to take any responsibility, essentially protecting a dishonest employee instead of helping a guest.The Bottom Line: It is clear that my property was taken from the room. A hotel should be a safe haven, but at this Ramada location, there is zero integrity. If the staff feels comfortable taking items from rooms and the management backs them up with lies and aggression, your valuables are not safe here.Budapest is a beautiful city with many wonderful hotels don't ruin your trip by staying at a place that treats its guests with such disrespect and dishonesty.Stay away!     Nice little hotel in the centre

    Easy to find. Room was standard size for Europe really. I really liked the location. Like a 7 minute walk from airport bus drop off. Lots of shops around. It is in the centre of Budapest so its not going to be tranquil but the noise wasn't late at night.     Hotel is very well located in District V. We walked everywhere we needed to go. The room was a good size and clean. Housekeeping were very efficient. A few downsides, there’s a damp like smell throughout the hallways. Breakfast was lacking and the hit food was tepid. There’s no views whatsoever. The bar was closed. Not great for facilities but you could argue you don’t really need these with everything on your doorstep.
