  This resort offers an exceptional vacation experience. The accommodations are elegant and comfortable, providing the perfect place to unwind. I would happily return to this resort.

  great location but poor service

  First the pros: the location is very good, near metro, tram bus stops - really easy to get where you need. Nice pedestrian street with restaurants, cafes and shops + the shopping center - you can buy anything you need. One of the 2 receptionists I met was nice. The apartment had a good size, equipment and nice balcony.And now the cons: we already had troubles reaching the reception - first there is no place to stop your car while checking in and also getting to the reception is a problem - to get into the building you need to ring a bell to reception, which I did several times but got a strange automatic voice response in Hungarian, had no idea what to do. Fortunately somebody let me in then. The receptionist was quite rude and not very eager to help us, however, he did in the end - he walked us to the parking place in garage (which we have not booked in advance - did not know it was needed, but were lectured on the importance of booking in advance by the receptionist). We found out that the apartment was in a very different building than the reception and the garage place, also not 30/50m to the breakfast place as promised. We had the breakfast ordered via booking, but on the first they we realized it was not worth the price and you are not allowed to have what you want but have to pick from few combinations (sandwich+coffee+orange juice, muffin+croissant+cappucinno/hot chocolate, eggs+orange juice+coffee). Not really what we expected especially for kids, so we wanted to cancell the breakfast for the second morning. Returned the voucher on the reception, but have not got any refund. When I demanded on it during check out, after stating it was ordered via booking andcannot be cancelled in the full price, they returned only a part of the price (20euro out of 34).Now to the room - the bathroom was ok and clean, the rest of the apartment seemed only clean when you did not look under the bed or in the shelves. The floor was damaged, wall next to the sofa was awfully dirty. The worst part was that there were small ants in the kitchen. They waited us already with the welcome tea/coffee/candies package. They were really small but tried to get to any sweets that we left on the kitchen counter or table. I really hope we did not take any of them to our home by mistake.I do not recommend this experience to anyone, better avoid Sun resort apartments. But what I can definitely recommend is visiting Budapest in autumn, we had a really great time (despite the unfortunate choice of accommodation)

  We spent here a spring short vacarion with our 8 yo daughter.Appartment we got was quite ok, no luxary but all functional. Building is nice and clean. Location of thw building was very good - it is in the pedestrian area and metro is very close, a lot of markets and caffes arround, and at the one end of the pedestrian is a small mall. For the visiting Budapast it was great.

  Nice room in Budapest for 2 persons, it was very warm, extremely hot water, the room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Good location, close to shops, restaurants and a mall. Easy access, quiet location, and, since the streets are quite small and narrow, we also opted a parking place in the inside covered parking.

  O* Stars if possible.We booked (2 families of 3 people each) a deluxe apartment each and paid a high price for Budapest standards. We did not mind, as long as we were to be in the same building and have our children comfortable. We had made that clear in advance.We were two blocks apart. The receptionist said that there was nothing he could do about it.Moving on. We arrive to our apartments and only one of us had a balcony as we asked and paid for. But that was the least. There was rubbish from previous visitors, urin stains on the toilet, hair everywhere (in sheets, kitchen drawers, even the fridge)Beds were as thick as yoga mats and definitely had seen better days. The most dramatic of all was the towels. We got 3 full sized towels only. On the 3rd day we called and asked if we could have them changed, the reception replied that there were no more towels available! We never got any cleaning service. We went to reception (in another building) and got a fresh set on the 4th day. Still no smaller face towels. So one towel, each resident for the whole stay. That's it. You can wipe your face in the morning with the same towel you wiped your privates. Very unfair for the high price we paid. We could have gotten a hotel room for that.Awful. Truly awful
